Seidou is shown playing their first game in Koshien and Seidou is having a 3-1 lead in the top of the 5th. Miyuki leads off for Seidou and hits a bomb. Zono gets a hit as well and Furuya also follows up with a HR.
Next inning, Nori is subbed in and although he gave up some hits, Haruichi and Mochi helped him out on defend to maintain the lead. Bottom of the 8th and Seidou can hear cheerful laughs coming from their bullpen. Yui and Okumura on the stands cheering wonders how he (Sawamura) will respond to this. Sawamura is called out to replace Nori with Seidou leading by 9-2, Furuya moves to LF.
The flashback regarding Sawamura's injury. The Doctor said it's a light inflammation, like Nori, he just need to rest and not pitch for a bit and it'll heal just fine. Sawamura rejoices saying "Really?". Miyuki is frustrated as he thinks "did I asked him to throw way too many new pitches?". The Doctor said he's glad it ended in the 9th. Everyone got nervous cos they know if it went into the extras, Sawamura's performance may have dropped because of that injury and they may have lost. Someone said (may have been Kataoka) "Nori putted up with it, now it's your turn. Come back and challenge Koshien in your perfect condition" and Sawamura responses with a resounding yes.
Back to the game and Miyuki tells Sawamura to not trip down the mound and Sawamura said don't remind him of it.
Someone said or maybe it's the narration "The world is a bigger place than we think and the Road you choose will lead you to that map". Sawamura winds up for the pitch and the chapter ends
