I would like to see Jesus on the wing and then put Martinelli as the striker to see how we perform.
Seeing how Martinelli scored the 2 late goals in the last game then this could be the key for success
Gabriel Jesus would score like that as well given that service. The problem is he barely gets played in where he is one on one with the keeper. all his goals and chances come in tight spaces where he either still has to beat defenders or score immediately, reason why he hit the post ( Wasn't a tap in btw he was just unlucky, he actually took it well). Problem is the midfielders hog the ball and keep passing back and when the other defence finally opens up and there is space, Arteta would have subbed Jesus off already. Arteta should realise that Jesus gets better the more you keep him on but he always subs him off around 60-70 mins even if he plays better than Martinelli or Saka

@@sha7529 Jesus misses a lot. put him on the wing. Martinelli is our most clinical player when you compare chances and goals so let him play central plus Jesus is very good at beating defenders so he will cut in more easier than Martinelli.
Would prefer Jesus on the left wing and Trossard as striker. Martinelli is better when he comes off the bench in the 60th min

Saka is slowly becoming one of those players that even when theyre out of form, theyre still producing goals and assists . Hes on course to get double digits on both goals and assists and this is considered an “off” season for him.

About the goals, I think G.Jesus wasn’t just lucky, He did his best
Arsenal take time to beat the low block, and usually all the action comes in the second half so the chances that fall to Jesus in the first half are half chances tbh, besides the one where he it the post (unlucky as you said). I get Saka is good yes but Arteta really needs to stop subbing Jesus off all the time. Jesus is very good when that low block falls away, he can score and assist easily, can actually change games. He is Arsenals most unpredictable player and needs to stay on. If he was not averaging 65 minutes every game (on top of injuries) he would have more numbers by now. I know Arteta wants Nketiah to get minutes but at least sub off one of the wingers and shift Jesus, the wingers are becoming too predictable.

I’m hoping that the plan is to continue being there or there abouts till the last 8-10 games and then unleashing last years Arsenal, I think the electric style we played last year wasn’t sustainable over the course of an entire season but that home run could be a suitable time to do it, and what a way to win it would be.
I totally agree this was my prediction after the first 9 games of the season.. unleash at the end of the season
It's a really big game againest Liverpool and its a game we need to win.
My biggest worry is conversion in front of goal, though. Liverpool as we know can score plenty of goals, and they probably will score againest us. But I do think their defence can be got at, but we have to make sure we score our chances.
My other big worry is Zinchenko. Im not making him a scapegoat or anything, but when targeted by teams, he does seem to buckle/ make more mistakes. We need a great performance from him and every single player to have any chance of getting a win againest Liverpool. Hopefully we can do that, dominate the game and be clinical in front of goal 🙏
I would also mix our starting line up, just to try and throw Liverpool off a bit.

Havertz was on it today! He was involved in the first goal (let's call it an assist :) ), got Konaté sent off and was causing problems for Liverpool
I still believe Trosard should start games ahead of martineli. So that after 65mins we bring on martineli to threaten tired legs of opposition defences

Arteta left it too late to substitute Zinchenko. He knows he gets tired and loses focus from the 75th minute, he is suppose to substitute him around the 70th minute and bring Kiwior. If Kiwior partners Saliba and Magalhaes plays the left back instead of Kiwior, the backline would be much balanced and we would have kept that clean sheet.
We need aggressive, stamina-filled attacking midfield combatants to be able to subdue and bulldoze our way to beating teams convincingly.

@CatFuntCanton mate it is just a suggestion. Martinelli is a great striker but plays on the wing, Jesus is a winger in reality. Maybe the switch might bring rewards, especially with how fast GM is on the break. Just a thought this all.
