To us, the song had an otherworldly nature to it and that's why we decided to shoot it in one of the strangest places the earth has to offer - Death Valley. We wanted to show the emotional journey in a symbolic and poetic way, rather than plain storytelling, and also tie in the vast and powerful feeling of the song with equally powerful visuals.
