my issue though is the flow rate is just 12 litres with a 50c rise, i wish they created a combined system unit so properties with high heat loss could still do it all in one than have multiple tanks etc that comes normally with heat pump installs, that still allows b rated cylinders to be used without having the extra expense of upgrading the pipes , rads etc

The prime idea of this is to retain the instant high flows of DHW. Depending on conditions the heat pump may be more economical to run than the gas combi for space heating, so the controller decides which to use on economic reasons. It also has the advantages of being a retrofit and no space consuming cylinder used.
