      I think this is a very responsible comment. It is evident from other comments that 14 year olds are being influenced by your channel, and no doubt largely for the better! However it should be said that eating a vegan diet safely requires nutritional awareness as the years of physical growth make up a small but very important period of one's life. What is done in this time cannot be undone later as there will never be another growth period.
      My son is 15, is 6'4" and plays rugby. Average teenagers need .6 g/kg of protein for healthy growth. Someone of my son's size and activity needs closer to the adult range of .8 g/kg. This works out to be nearly 4 cups of lentils a day. I am grateful to other commentors for taking the time to respond.

      not normally! If I do snack it's just chips or something haha. I never make myself a "snack". If I get hungry I just make another meal usually :)

    been vegan for a while now.
    My best recipe is the following (Strawberry Nice-Cream)
    1 full Avacado, 1 handful Walnuts, Maca powder, goji berries, strawberries, Cacao powder, beet root, flax seeds, chia seeds, acai powder, and any milk is fine (I use flax)
    Its soooo tasty! Enjoy!

    how do you decide when to use oil or water to cook?

      They both pretty much do the same thing! I never have a problem sauteeing with either or. Some dishes require oil though to increase taste, something I can think of is vegan ramen. It's all about achieving the flavor profile that's wanted!

    Thank you for your helpful videos!! I would love to see you work with a nutritionist and make meal plans that would meet the needs of teenagers. This day's receipes would be fine for you and me, but not for a teenage boy or girl who is still growing as there is not enough protien. I suspect you have teenage viewers, so it would be good for them as well!!

      Pencilfriend Paperscribbler People really dont need as much protein as everyone raves about. I have done A LOT of nutritional research into the vegan/plant based diet. I also a health professional. So if you want to know more from people more qualified than you and I. I highly recommend watching a documentary called Food Choices. Its avaliable on Netflix.
      But i assure you. It is impossible to have a protein deficiency on a plant based diet. (as long as you are eating the recommended amount of calories)

    This is so intriguing. My family, and everyone in my country very rarely are vegetarian, not to mention vegan. However, I've tried many times to stick to a vegetarian diet. See, I'm not creative, ingenious or experienced enough to make noodles with bok choi, mushrooms and snow peas

    Have you ever used cronometer or other site to check how many calories you are eating in a day? This seems no more than like 1200, but I guess everyone is different! I eat roughly 2500 and I'm severely underweight xx

    cutting with your fingers flat could end accidentally slicing your fingers off so you should cut with your fingers in a more "claw" shape!
