I love the fact that 'no surprises' follows 'climbing up the walls' on ok computer. you have this sinister, eerie song like something out of a horror movie with a blood curdling scream at the end, straight into a song which sounds like a lullaby that could send babies off to sleep.
Listen to this song late at night, alone, locked in your room with headphones on and your eyes closed. I think you will understand the power of this masterpiece :D
@@mattshawuk I do indeed enjoy it! This is around the time I discovered Radiohead so I watched a bunch of fan animations and this one you made I remember the most, haha.
For lack of a better word to describe it, the "solo" is bloody brilliant, one of my all time favourites(and I don't mean just Radiohead, I mean everyone).
This actually made me genuinely upset. Even extremely sad stuff doesn't make me feel much, but this genuinely made my chest twist. I especially love the lack of colors, it gives a perfect atmosphere of utter despair, death, and horror. The saddest moment is when the alien was in the cinema, he seemed so...innocent, like he simply wanted to understand humans more.
Glad to see this back up. First watched and loved it like 12 years ago and rewatched it many times over the years since so it was a real disappointment when I suddenly couldn't find it a little while ago!
Thanks for commenting and welcome back! You might have even seen my No Surprises video before RUclips decided that one should be removed.... sad times.
I think you did an amazing job on this video. You captured the spirit and the meaning of this dark twisted song. I love the "we just wanted to say hello" part at the end. Brilliant!!
Your video is simple, yet it goes so well with this song. It kind of reminds me of the Paranoid Android video. Good job, man. Radiohead seems to invite people to be more creative, which is my I love them so damn much.
I was lying down listening to this last night and thinking about a video for it... so came on to youtube and this is amazingly close to what I imagined
+Rodrigo Jimenez some research is the answer, thom yorke is not related to drugs, in fact his genious comes from being sober. he made this song when he went to work on a mental hospital for charity, and the song talks about what he felt when looking at some patients.
that video is actually really true. Its about panic. If someone or something isn't where it's supposed to be, people nowadays would find it a threat, not a discovery. Very nice video! I love it!

+Rodrigo Jimenez drugs bro
+Tammy Collins oh yeah, no doubt about it.
+Rodrigo Jimenez some research is the answer, thom yorke is not related to drugs, in fact his genious comes from being sober.
