@@VascoMonteirosChannel yes, can you please do a video on how to create a marketplace like your ex-business vetted from scratch and how to create the prefect blog articles using your ai tool on auto-mode🙏🏾
@@roseanne1466 I wouldn't be able to record a video on that as it's too broad of a question. If you have some specific questions for the process of building the marketplace I can surely help though! Regarding my AI tool, you can watch the tutorials on "Journalist AI" youtube channel :)
Can you review my Saas idea and tell me if it's a good fit? I was thinking about creating a team management website. Whether it's a corporate team or a team outside the company, the admin will have a page to add members, create projects, divide employees into projects, and receive employee updates. There is also a special page for each member or employee who can view the projects sent to him, provide an update for each project, and so on. Is it a good idea?
Definitely, knowledge doesn't occupy space, that said, you can still do it without knowing a thing about it. And To be fair it's best you focus on your strengths and let your cofounder do the coding. You'll go much further, much faster
Interesting video but when you're talking about multiples around 21:00 it clearly says "profit multiple", which has nothing to do with MRR/ARR. It is yearly *profit* multiple so those new calcs in red are totally misleading and your initial estimates of from 1x MRR were more realistic
Not necessarily totally misleading. if your profit marings are 80% just times that by 0.8 and it's not far off. Depends on how high your profit is but yea I could've probably dove deeper on that
@@VascoMonteirosChannel Ok fair point, though this again depends on *actual profit*. If 80% margin is before the founder(s) take a salary that isn't actually 80% net for multiple calc, it's 80% gross margin. The buyer is going to have to pay someone to run/grow the thing, so that means the 80% gross goes to maybe 0% net if the MRR is low and doesn't cover much of a quality person's wage. This does matter, as a business where you are buying a job vs buying an asset that pays someone to run it are different things entirely
@@VascoMonteirosChannel The hype numbers do get irritating. Content creators fall into that trap when it's pushing to a community/free course link - inflated statements to build excitement. I know you know what I mean but again the video is a great rundown otherwise and no doubt will give some founders ideas where they may be stuck
@@willie_west for sure, totally get what you’re saying. The nature of the game unfortunately rewards that. I try to keep it real tho as much as I can while balancing trying to get views/attention. Just trying to build a community of likeminded founders here 🫡

44:19 how do you create a video without creation of the software?
it can be a video of you just talking about what it'll be, or a screen share of some figma mockups
Isn't it better to having some basic coding knowledge even if one is not developing?
