    It's evident from the figures that we are not able to utilize our demographic dividend appropriately.
    Also, due to the demand and supply constraints very few candidates are able to live their dreams by getting selected while the dreams of the majority of people are getting trampled. Most productive time of our lives is getting destroyed inside our rooms to just mug-up things which would not be much relevant in upcoming future irrespective of our selection. Situation is really grim.😐

      CSAT will be easy next year, so relax. For the CSAT, you have to be exceptionally good in either English, logical reasoning or math. CSAT is causing issues for students with Humanities and Medical backgrounds. But if you are good at English or logical reasoning, Then I think you are good to go.

    Sir, I am more comfortable in expressing myself in hindi when it comes to interview but if I write my mains in english , then would it have a negative impact on the board members?? Also is it compulsory for one to give interview in english if he/she has filled IFS in the services preferences ( not at the top most preference but in top 5 preferences)???

      @namanshrivastava  Год назад +1

      No - you may opt for Hindi in the interview panel. (at least that was the case when I gave my interview - albeit, mine was in English). You can write the mains in English, and the interview could be in Hindi.
      Do check latest rules, however.

    • @namanshrivastava
      @namanshrivastava  Год назад +6

      These are minor issues. To be honest, for the time that you'd spend in Delhi as an IFS - most of it would be spent in Lutyens Delhi - it's one of the best parts of Delhi. Additionally, you can always ask for deputations with state governments (although, there are limitations), you could also apply for regional offices of MEA (when in India)

    • @shipramishra9303
      @shipramishra9303 Год назад

      Adding to Naman's points above, you would spend 2/3rd of your time outside the country. And you have many alternatives for the 1/3rd time in India, Naman memtioned them above.

CSAT..and i think the biggest reason could be analysing pyqs..even when 2023s paper is so abstract,then also U can prepare keeping the questions in mind ,u cant just reaf everything under the sun now...My suggestions would be,now focus on mains,next yr start pre preaprtn from February onwards.and also ull realise u hv broden ur knowledge a lot more thn this time....
      Last but not least if u dont do any silly mistakes in pre(a bit of Luck), pretty good chance ull clear no matter how tough it is,and CSAT is all about questions selection..

Honestly, it makes me feel unfortunate that this wonderful community belongs only for individuals who want to be in IFS. It's a personal decision, I may not be able to answer it for you. Depends upon what are you looking for, how much time could you devote to MisFits on a daily basis (our expectation is minimum 4 hours everyday until December, 6-8 hours everyday closer to the exam cycle)
