Great question - I think any type of heat on hair daily is technically damaging. However, the rollers are really soft so they won't pull at the hair and damage it by ripping. I think it is just that the heat could dry out the hair and cause breakage over time!

My hair is damp- but I let it dry for about 1 hour so it's not soaking wet. Hope this helps!
