I'd have reservations about that rubber keypad too, can imagine it breaking down eventually with enough heavy usage. And I'd rather have functions like wipers/lights/etc further apart from transmission/tipper/etc.

I agree with most every thing you say, except.. you can drive and dump, not as well as the volvo, but you can do it with the box up, just hit your forward and it will let you... you can drop the box while moving forward as well.
