For most people in Blitar, Banteng Mati Beach is not something new. But for some people outside Blitar, this beach certainly makes people curious. Like the white sand beach of Gondo Mayit, which makes many people curious with its scary-sounding name, Banteng Mati Beach has also invited many tourists who are eager to discover its hidden charm.
Now Banteng Mati Beach has been transformed into an attractive tourist destination in Blitar Regency, East Java. This beach, which was once hidden, is now starting to become known to the public after the opening of the Southern Cross Route which makes it easier to access the road to the beach.
Banteng Mati Beach is located to the east of Tambakrejo Village, namely Sidorejo Hamlet, Wonotirto District, Blitar Regency, East Java. Located about 5 kilometers from Tambakrejo Beach.
Banteng Mati Beach has sufficient facilities to meet the tourist needs of visitors. Starting from a large parking area, stalls, bathrooms, toilets, camping ground.

THE GIRL WHO WAS BEGINNING TO BE KNOWN
Like most beaches, the white sand of Banteng Mati Beach is very fine and clean, considering that the nature still looks natural. Bull Mati Beach has a beautiful panorama. The right and left sides of the beach are filled with coral rocks. So if you want to swim thinly, it's best not to be in that area so you can be free. But also don't swim too far into the middle.
WHY IS THIS BEACH CALLED DEAD BULL?
According to local people, this area used to be a protected forest and was inhabited by buffalo. At one time, one of the bulls got his leg entangled in the coastal rocks and could not free himself, so the bull finally died on the spot.
Gradually, when people began to settle around the area, the protected forest area was opened and cut down to be converted into a sugar cane plantation. The beach there is also associated with the story of a trapped bull and is nicknamed Dead Bull Beach.
