As a person who grew up in LA and saw a lot of out-of-towners change after adapting here, I'm glad she didn't change a bit. Only matured but the essence of her character stayed genuine throughout.
Kelly was already a star before she won AI...everybody knew that since top 10 performance. I love her since forever...she's real genuine person. She managed to win simon on that top 10 is everything...ever since simon singing praises of kelly...thats cute as hell

She mentioned recently she doesn’t like to kiss anyone on the cheek, and clearly we can see here she is kissing with no problem. I’m starting to think she is not genuine and fake.

I watched it in 2021 and man oh man Kelly became a tv host, Jimmy became a TV host and they both dueted together many times!!!
She had so much star quality already before she even got started
