Wanda is still alive. She isn't dead. I don't know why people are saying that she is dead. We clearly didn't see her dead body. It will be stupid for Marvel to kill her her off. She is one of the strongest Avengers.
Ofcourse she is not dead. Such a powerful character can die under the rubble is a stupid idea.. it is going to connect with events similar to childrens crusade comics where young avengers is introduced and xmen and avnegrs come together to find out sw lost her menory and now in latveria introducing doom in mcu
Rio has to be Death. Every mention of Death, she has an interesting reaction. Almost like she's being called out. Not to mention the history between her and Agatha. Just a theory.
I love the ending, and I completely understand the reveal, but I’m confused. Why would he do that, does he know he’s Billy since he seemed to have full control over his power, and how does Agatha know his mom is Wanda? Edit - I also think that we’re on the track to see Teen become the main villain of the show in the finale
I think the point is that he’s been lying to Agatha all along ;) that he freed her from Wanda’s spell and tricked her into taking him to the witches road. But that opens the question, if he doesn’t need power at the end of the road, what is he looking for? Maybe to bring the scarlet witch back
Agatha deduced that he was Wanda’s son through process of elimination. His sigil, the fact that he broke Wanda’s spell. Rio told her that he wasn’t Nicholas. Then NS spirit was present in the trial-
I’m ngl I thought it was more emotional then intentional. His powers had a little start up and they only appeared after Agatha acted nonchalant/barely sorry about the draining
The crown. I'm wondering if that's the power of the Darkhold since the Darkhold not only offers power, but corrupts the user. As for the Death reference, Rio laughed. I think she is actually Lady Death. My theory is Rio will bring everyone back to life next episode with her Lady Death powers. I think being Lady Death, she's on a mission for Mephisto and the only one slated to die is Agatha for stealing the Darkhold to try to bring her son back to life (possibly after dying in a battle against the Fantastic Four). Of course, I could be wrong since I thought the Salem Seven were Agatha's grandkids in the comics, but in this they're the kids of the people in Agatha's coven she killed.
Dude! Great review! I feel exactly the same as you. I’m getting more and more into this series after the lackluster start. Now I’m settling in for a fun run.
I have a theory that might be crazy but this episode (which I loved, btw) didn’t seem very real to me(?) maybe it’s because it was very short and rushed, but still… I was left wondering if this couldn’t have been one of Lilia’s visions… or at least it’s one she’s been having (remember when she randomly said “try to save Agatha” and “Alice, don’t” in previous episodes? I think maybe she could be referring to the events of this episode). Again, maybe it’s a stretch, maybe I’m just wispy and cooky (reference intended) or maybe…. I might be onto something. btw this is the first video I watched from this channel and I must say, I love your room/studio decoration!
3:59 and he also gave serious Magneto vibes in this episode. She taunted him, so he decided it was time to play a game called “I’m going to move the coin.”
I knew teen was tricking them he tricked agatha to take him on the road and she paid the price but I honestly don't know how they are going to do the last episodes since teen was revealed as Wiccan Scarlett witches son well one of them so I don't know how it's going to pan out but can't wait I saw his crown and I heard agatha say that line about you're so much like you're mother I was shook I was like WHAT!!!!!
I think lilia and Jen are gonna pip back up in westview, and Billy is gonna go down the road by himself where Wanda finds him, (either half dead, or alive) and he's gonna open the road by himself to bring the witches back to bring them back to the road. And thats his trial.
Scarlet Witch isn't dead! It's a huge plot point in the comics that Wiccan and Speed go looking for their mom (Wiccan especially). And with the Dr. Doom reveal, it's obvious they're going that path in the comics. In that arc, she's lost her memory and he essentially keeps her prisoner until he attempts to marry her to take her power (if I remember correctly) and Wiccan shows up to help her remember. It's part of a larger story where they all team up to destroy Kang, so I'm sure all the pieces will line up soon enough.
Great review! sort of doubt Wanda is dead though, they've been heavily peppering hints throughout the series that she's alive (see Agatha's dialogue at the start after mentioning that the suspect gets crushed) I also think the popularity of this show will help in jumpstarting Disney's interest in the character again. MOM was kinda a flop but that was just because they gave Wanda the exact same character arc but executed 4x worse.
How could it be Wanda’s son if Billy was like 8 in Wandavision and teen is like 16 or 17 here… must be a multiverse or time variant or it’s not even Billy… idk at this point.
Remember in WandaVision in one episode when the boys wanted a dog but Wanda said they were to young, they literally nodded their head & aged like 4 years. I think Billy's soul never died at the end of WandaVision. It was always there & attached itself to the teen who was probably killed in the car accident in Eastview they referenced in episode 1 & in the closing credits.
I find Agatha’s trial very interesting because it didn’t really help her it just proved that she was evil all along and she knew that already, I also feel like it set up the relationship between her and teen very well and as well as with her confronting her mother but I also feel like it did reveal teen’s identity for us a little bit too seemingly well and confirmed that Agatha is in fact not his mother but I’m not fully convinced he’s Wanda’s son ether (YET) Crazy theory what if he got possessed by Agatha’s mother and if he is Wanda’s son how and why? And why would he work with Agatha in order to go down the road when he could have done it himself? It just doesn’t make sense to me I also find it interesting that next episode could possibly be Teen’s trial, then Lilia’s and then finally Rio’s so hopefully we get see what happens next and we can finally find out the truth! Once and for all… I’m also kind of wondering if maybe we just lost the plot a little bit? Like it kind of seemed like the fact everyone was theorizing Teen might be Billy and they just went with it a little bit? I don’t know that’s just how I feel
Everyone theorizing has no impact on what they filmed prior to the shows release. I also don’t think that Agatha was evil all along. I think she truly can’t stop it absorbing once it starts. That was a genuine moment but her acting indifferent is a defense mechanism she turns on. I also don’t think that Teen knows who he is, or well-he didn’t. Agatha saying that might have triggered something in him. I’m not certain that he was in complete control there. It makes sense, his throwing Agatha, but not the other two. That’s not his nature. So I think we’ll find that something else is at play here.
I just rewatched the ending and I’m wondering if when Agatha says “Are you sure” referring to when Wanda was selfish in WandaVision by making up a whole town just so she could have the life she wanted, which was only for her
Rio is Lady Death so no one is really dead unless Rio wants them to be on this trial and Wanda is not dead, there is a Scarlett Witch movie that is being discussed to happen.
Okay so now I’m wondering how could Billy exist and become Wiccan in the first place? Billy was somehow magically born by Wanda? What about the other brother? What is his plan why did he wait to use his powers? Why did he seem completely genuine throughout the whole last 4 episodes? When did Agatha figure out it’s Wanda’s son? Why did she have so much motherly love for him but also flip on him in a second with a creepy smile and saying something sinister? Like it doesn’t make sense someone make it make sense for me…
My only complaint about this episode is that this episode should have been second/third to last or at least until after the Air/Earth trials, not in the middle! Agatha's trial should have been last not 3rd out of 5th.
Episode 4 was the best episode for me. I was on the verge of dropping the series before that one. Not sure how anyone can argue otherwise tbh. Unless they want to say this one is also good. But all the first 3 episodes were kinda meh. This episode 5 was okay but I had the same complaints. The way they all suddenly flipped to wanting to kill Agatha, I thought they were possessed or influenced, then I realize no they just suddenly actually wanted to leave her there. It felt too abrupt. And outside of episode 4, this has been the most noticeable flaw in the series. Like you'd be reading a book at chapter 5 and all of a sudden the next page is chapter 17. Or you're reading paragraph 12 then next thing you know its at paragraph 16. Its not just Jen in this one either, the ending of this felt like it shouldn't have happened til the penultimate episode. Plus another cheap death. We keep skipping steps here...
@@jonathansaidon4806ela não perdeu os poderes em momento algum, só se libertou da maldição. No episódio onde elas estão cantando a balada, ela se prepara para atacar Ágatha juntamente de Lili.
My guess is because she faced her trauma in the last trial and won. You can see she was kinda surprised that she was able to use magic again. All the witches are bound in some way and Alice freed herself. She even said she felt lighter which could mean the curse is off her back.(this is just what makes sense to me idk if it’s true)
Eh the Jennifer stuff didn’t bother me. Since episode two it’s clear Jen hates Agatha and vice versa. And now there is a life or death trial where the objective is to hurt the evil murderous witch she hates? Lines up.
Jen has also always been portrayed as self-centered and self-preserving above all else, including in the last episode when she proactively asks for -- then doesn't want to leave -- the circle of protection.
I think that they were more mysterious than they thought, while the exposition was happening and stuff. And also, if Sharon was indeed the first spirit, how come she didn't possessed anyone when Lilia removed her fingers of the board? Is she still gonna appear in the future? So many unnecessary questions lol
I don’t know how, but earlier today I saw something posted on Instagram about saying Teen was Wanda’s son by asking where is Wanda’s other son, and it showed a poster for Agatha all along
Did anyone else notice the Billie Eilish song at the end? Since he's Billy I thought that was on point
Wanda is still alive. She isn't dead. I don't know why people are saying that she is dead. We clearly didn't see her dead body. It will be stupid for Marvel to kill her her off. She is one of the strongest Avengers.

I’m honestly more interested in when Agatha realized he is Wanda’s son. Was it this episode or has she known this whole time
No I thought that she was thinking it was her son maybe Nicholas scratch
The sigil ends once it is no longer needed. Maybe it isn't needed now.
I think Billy saying Nicholas Scratch outloud, without being censored made it concrete for her!
i think she knew from her conversation with rio, because from the start she knew he killed Sharon but didn't say anything
He changed into similar clothes to what Billy wore in Wanda Vision when they entered Agatha’s trial. Maybe she figured it out from that.
