Great list. I have Hylda, Ayesha, and Heliod decks and they've really taught me to enjoy WU. There are a few on this list that I've considered building as well. I built heliod with a bunch of eldrazi to drop for mostly free and its a monster
@theseppfuchs Hylda feels like a bit more control than I would like, but can generate an army pretty easily and that's fun. Dropping a "tap all creatures" spell with the mana to actually use her ability feels very powerful. Ayesha is the weakest of the 3 decks by a pretty large margin. I enjoy the idea of WU voltron though, and dumping free artifacts on the board can be a great way to ramp a bit for all the equip costs plus get the equipment to pump her power up to get bigger things for free on the next attack. It may not be the best, but its a lot of fun to play something different like that. I've been enjoying these videos. Keep up the good work!
Took me a little longer than expected, because I made the fatal error to try the game Bazaar (how quickly a weekend can go by), but we finally arrived at the two-colour combinations! If I had to pick a favorite for this UW I think I'd say either Niambi or Will. But what are your favorite Azorius Commanders?
Literally the first deck that I got to call mine and wasn't borrowing from someone else was "Millicent, Restless Revenant" I won their pre-con at a LAN party and honestly out of all of the three decks I won they're my favorite and I've been modifying that deck since. It's how I actually started to really care about MTG. Though now I'm kinda stuck about caring for only 1 or 2 decks xd
I built an Inniaz deck for my friend that focuses on making tokens (in this case, Clues), and then passing them off in order to accumulate the best stuff from around the table. It's an infuriating card in 1v1, and in 4 player it quickly makes the table a madhouse
This series alone will take a while, but there is so much fun stuff to talk about when it comes to Magic. I already have a list of all the lands I find interesting which would be in the same vein. Since this channel is a way for me to talk about my passions, I might occasionally talk about other Magic adjacent stuff like Bazaar, Slay the Spire, but who knows.
Noyan Dar, Roil Shaper is pretty unique as far as commanders go, period. Land animation barely exists. But if we’re talking favorites, I like Hama Pashar, Ruin Seeker and Niambi, Faithful Healer. I’m a dungeon fan, so Pashar is right up my alley. Niambi on the other hand? She’s bad. Awful, even. But it’s VERY funny to put a Planeswalker deck tutor in the command zone. And PW deck Teferi isn’t the _worst_ thing to be finding, especially since you never have to pay commander tax for him.
Definitely! It's such a shame that Legends is such an under-printed set. Especially with Commander being the most popular commanders I would love to be able to play with the OG legendaries.
@@jfmalloy777 there are good cards like Search for Glory or On Thin Ice, but nothing super specific. Depending on the number of basics in your deck, it might make sense to just make use of a "free" inclusion like snow lands, but I think it can also get quite expensive.
@@theseppfuchs hahah good for you man i dont have shit for this combination. I think Im just gonna order all of the ones I like from your videos and the figure it out from there which ones i built. Next year sets I consider garbage for the most part anyway so might as well dive deep into the older ones. Love your videos keep them coming!
I'm looking forward to the new Tarkir set, as I really enjoyed the world building of the OG one. Also I heard the drafting was goated, but I never got to do it.
AWESOMEEEEE! Not a huge fan of azorius so i'm excited to see what peaks my interest.
Awesome video! Never even heard of Rasputin before watching this but think it would be a fun build to try and brew
There is also an older version of Rasputin, but I'd only recommend that one if you and your playgroup are open to proxies as he is very expensive.
Glad I found you, sweet work man
Very kind of you to say

Heliod with Eldrazi sounds nasty! How do the other two decks perform?

Thank you so much, for the answer and the kind words :) @@FroPlamondon

But what are your favorite Azorius Commanders?
My favourite has to be Inniaz. The chaos of people switching seats as soon as you pull the deck out alone is enough to play it.
@@teunfish9189 Same, I love the occasional out-of-game weirdness that can happen in Commander with cards like Inniaz or Goblin Game!
Great Video again, there where some nice inspirations in those cards

That's so nice to hear :). I used to have 6 Commander decks, but right now I only have one that I play regularly. I just love to play it so much!
Looking forward to.more! This was great
This is a fun series. I love Azorius.
Glad to hear you like it. Azorius used to be my definite number 1, but nowadays I am not so sure anymore.
Raff had been my favourite commander for years, but it gets outclassed so much nowadays i rarely play it anymore.
Grothama's now my bestie
Grothama is a sick design!
Love this series!

And we all love a good madhouse Commander game from time to time :D
I just got Urza prince of kroog myself
I have a bunch of azorias I really should build decks around
Once you get through all the different colour combinations, what kind of videos are you wanting to make?

So kind of a hidden PW Commander? I have a soft spot for hidden Commander decks
Lets goooo we’re out of mono territory. Life is worth living
Entering the stereo world now!
Rasputin Dreamveaver from legends is also very cool, if you ignore the $100+ price tag...

Elminster! Planeswalker in the command zone who cares about scrying, big spells, and going wide with tokens
Are you playing snow basics and graven lore?
Oh that's a neat card! Are there any other snow payoffs that'd work in there?

How the eff you know i was eating cereal
Blue white mages need to know what their opponents are doing so they can counter spell the right thing :D
god damn it man if i could id build like 5 or 6 of those but my bank account wouldnt be very happy about it
So true. But thankfully UW is probably the colour combination that I have the most staples for because I used to play UW control in modern.

No council of four :/
We can always discuss more commanders in the comments! What do you like about that Commander, what does the deck look like? I am curious to hear! :)
KANGEE AERIE KEEPER MENTIONED??? we EAT. i disavow all kastral players in favor of the real bird tribal commander
He IS a LEGEND after all! Also, he looks dope.
