It's actually really interesting how these creators put the items into chests in the most confusing way so the viewer doesn't bother to check what and how much of item x is in there. Thus their solution sounds way more intelligent cause the viewer effectively gave up.
I remember the time when there were only wooden and stone pressure plates, so everyone knew one is for items and entities, and latter only for entities. I guess introducing two new pressure plates that both accept items made the younger fandom lose it's mind
@@bennyl9228 Haven't really played since I was in middle/high school in like 2012-2016. I'll play on Xbox/Switch occasionally with my fiancee but not enough to actually learn any new mechanics. Does that make me an old minecrafter? I'm not that old T^T
It's really not insane. I mean, crafting a log into planks? Breaking an iron bar? Ignoring a rule that says you cant place blocks? Literally doing anything that isnt a cookie cutter version of a lazy and rushed escape room? C'mon people, put some time into it.

Regarding the "Mandela effect" of items on pressure plates, stone pressure plates are the only ones that don't detect items but any other pressure plates do (although a heavy one wouldn't work in this case as you need 10 entities on it)
I haven't played minecraft anything more than on occasion in like 7 years and I knew that wood is affected by items but stone isn't. Thought it was relatively common knowledge but I suppose not
I think the most interesting thing I've seen so far is at 4:43. the prison has lava below it, and that's part of the premise... but when he comes out of the prison with the enderpearl, there is no lava and he dies from fall damage. The lava was only added after the failed escape!
Honestly if anything the escape rooms do teach me some smaller things I didn’t know about Minecraft mechanics. One thing was getting water from a wet sponge by putting the bucket in the furnace
I really like watching these debunks, the escapes with basic mechanics is so funny (and reminds me of cheesing celeste maps, except those typically need more advanced techniques but are often more straightforward to find) it’s just fun to watch non-intended solutions to puzzles edit: also paradox in fake short: where did his bed for the “died but not really” finale come from, wasn’t he required to give you all the things (including the string visible in the “give all items” sequence)
6:21 funny little thing here there is no way for an ender pearl to be placed on a players head normally so you have to use commands, which he would already know about the pearl once he startes the "prision" (more like a mcdonald's playground).
The editing with the music from 14:13 onwards is great, especially with the comments building up to Ken's "Guys!" punctuating the last note. Small detail, but it's nice.
The RUclipsr ZoomZike made a video on a Mario Sunshine mission called The Goopy Inferno in the Pianta Village level, where you have to make it through the level while most of the ground is lava (and you don't have FLUDD for it). The video was basically complementing all the different ways you can beat the level which is really cool. That's kind of what I don't like about these videos, they don't seem to embrace all the creative ways someone can beat their escape rooms. Isn't that what Minecraft all about, creativity?
so like, ik that last escape room was a joke. but that mechanic of scaring the creeper by pushing a cat up with the coral fans and such is actually such a cool idea
These escape rooms should've been made with f5, because using f5 gives you a whole new perspective and allows you to see what's wrong with the method of escaping
This is like finding the most complex solution to the easiest shrine in breath of the wild or tears of the kingdom. Theres sort of a community around finding new solutions to these shrines. I'm not sure if these escape rooms are completely useless afterall
Literally I have no way to convey how much I agree and relate with this video. The escape room RUclips Shorts content by the likes of Scum Mann 69420 are truly agonizing and probably used to torture war criminals (And make earthworm level attention span babies laugh I guess) or some crap. Clickbait Minecraft escape rooms and RUclips shorts is a match made in the fiery depths of hell and what nightmares are made of, and I am infinitely grateful that you took your time to once again rip them to shreds.
14:55 I'm pretty sure it's because you're able to get a redstone signal from a gold pressure plate. Gold ones are light pressured or something and give a signal from items while others need entities.
Even before the gold and iron pressure plates were added, the stone has always not worked with items, while the wood one did. The commenters are just clueless about the game, confused or not, they’re wrong while they think they know everything
@@DylanLCutshall I haven't played Minecraft since 2018 and even I knew stone pressure plates don't react to itmes. That's like the whole reason they exist.

As a shorts creator who occasionally tries to make Minecraft videos on actually smart-ish stuff, I... Don't actually know how to feel in comparison lol
You know how we should fix this? Make a category for escape rooms is that you can only escape in the most absurd and inefficient way possible. That way all the videos are fine now.
hey, I made prison in mc a few years ago and this reminded me to finish it. it includes chunk bans, regenerating walls, death traps to clear your inventory, and keycards for the guards. the goal is to escape as the prisoner while inside the cell and being visited or to break the prisoner out while visiting, it's very intricate and I haven't found a way someone could do either of those yet. if you wanna try just let me know, I'd be interested in seeing how you'd escape
15:00 The reason people think you can do it with sticks is because you CAN drop things on wooden pressure plates and it will create a redstone signal, people just assume that stone and wood do the same thing.
I just realized how to make the ultimate trap (this is for a player with no items and just joined.).Put someone in a small bedrock box at the sky limit and a hole the goes to bedrock underneath. Put a chest with one enderpearl inside the box. The player will be all like “bro this is such an easy trap you think this will actually trap me?” Then you enjoy watching them pearl glitching and falling to their death. It’s the ultimate anti pro prison because they think it’s just another garbage escape room lol.
just once i want to see a player so used to these ridiculously complex escape rooms play one where they have to lower their IQ to that of a tapeworm to find the solution. while they're F5'ing to look around, the real solution is right below their feet.
I like watching some of cammans content because I don't play minecraft anymore and it's kinda interesting how different people take a new update when my only real knowledge is a phoenixsc video
Honestly, in the last shorts video, I maybe could have commited the mistake of the fishing rod to the item frame, but would have figured it out fast, BUT I PERFECTLY KNOW THAT STONE PRESSURE PLATES DONT GET ACTIVATED BY ITEMS. The same that wooden buttons are activated by arrows, but they don't activate stone buttons.
I guess there’s an advantage to memorizing half the wiki. But please don’t do that. Just remember wood stuff detect every entity and stone only detects players and armor stands.

Ooooh is this what it is? I didn't even realize they added new ones to be honest but this makes sense.
Now you have pressure plates for all those blocjs usefuk for door elevatoes ect fun for the whole family

"This is catastrophic, its like the great flood" is a crazy line for a minecraft prison escape
Next thing we know is that Kenadian is going to debunk real life Prison escapes
Or it could be prison escape movies
I like the fact that in 15:50 he took inspiration from camman 18s strider called Gilbert and changed it to a creeper called killbert
I do go on shorts binges, but it's mainly because "Wow, my day has been a thing, so I don't wanna think anymore. Time to turn my brain off for a while."
The actual escape room stuff is fun, but I so wanna see more of your puzzlebox content. I like those over the escape room content. :D
"Ah yes, the random person I found on my minecraft server, which is totally not my alt account"
Regarding the "Mandela effect" of items on pressure plates, stone pressure plates are the only ones that don't detect items but any other pressure plates do (although a heavy one wouldn't work in this case as you need 10 entities on it)
If it did than desert temples would be blown up

@@MJ-mi9qcyea I thought it was common knowledge.
What makes these types of shorts funnier is the death note song
I'm glad I found this channel. This content is extremely specific but for me as a fan of puzzle games it was really enjoyable to watch.
I really like watching these debunks, the escapes with basic mechanics is so funny (and reminds me of cheesing celeste maps, except those typically need more advanced techniques but are often more straightforward to find)
it’s just fun to watch non-intended solutions to puzzles
edit: also paradox in fake short: where did his bed for the “died but not really” finale come from, wasn’t he required to give you all the things (including the string visible in the “give all items” sequence)

there is no way for an ender pearl to be placed on a players head normally so you have to use commands, which he would already know about the pearl once he startes the "prision" (more like a mcdonald's playground).

I honestly believe camman really does just kidnap and trap children in death boxes, seems like something he'd do.
These escape rooms should've been made with f5, because using f5 gives you a whole new perspective and allows you to see what's wrong with the method of escaping

Kenadian hard carrying the debunking of thousands of pathetic escape rooms and summing up his greatest works in one video:
This is like finding the most complex solution to the easiest shrine in breath of the wild or tears of the kingdom.
Theres sort of a community around finding new solutions to these shrines. I'm not sure if these escape rooms are completely useless afterall
the using f5 version of totk is bringing a rocket shield into the shrine
i love your debunk vids so much (all the others are rly cool too ofc), thanks for making content! you're funny, and have actual logic LOL

That's like the whole reason they exist.

hey, I made prison in mc a few years ago and this reminded me to finish it. it includes chunk bans, regenerating walls, death traps to clear your inventory, and keycards for the guards. the goal is to escape as the prisoner while inside the cell and being visited or to break the prisoner out while visiting, it's very intricate and I haven't found a way someone could do either of those yet. if you wanna try just let me know, I'd be interested in seeing how you'd escape

@@manymanyatoms9327 Do you know if every pressure plate, except stone, can be activated by ANY entity?
the pressure plate mandella effect is bc some types of pressure plates (wood for example) do work with items, while some dont, like stone ones.
