I have him and it always bothered me that his torso was flesh colored but the cool face was green, I ended up putting a long sleeve black shirt on . When we moved into our house it was BK ,before kids, I planned out my toy display in the basement. I made a shelf with the P.A.C.K. figures displayed on them. It didn't work. With the sailor, Indian and the rest of the stereotypical crew. it looked less like an international espionage organization then the village people. Thought you ought to know. Capt. OCD P.S. The bolos worked pretty well. I always like the PACK Big Jim line. Zorack was great. But that face changing Big Jim himself was the stuff of nightmares. The whole “his face spins, but his really bad hair stays” just screamed “bad gimmick” to even the most loyalist of young Big Jim kids. At a time when the larger Action Figure toys were loaded with cool gimmicks. Like Steve Austin’s bionics, and his eye. Or GI Joe’s Kung Fu grip or less impressive Eagle Eyes, heck even GI Joe had the Atomic Man $6 million man ripoff with the cool spinning arm copter, and the light piping eye. The “Exorcist Demon Possessed Big Jim” was just awful compared to them.

1970's toy-lines (American) , pre-1977, were largely bereft of villains (not counting licensed toy-lines). A guy wearing tennis shorts and a tank top with 'karate chop action' fighting a rabid badger or shark wouldn't cut it for me.

Those were my last three big Jim’s… I got it along with the laservette, The vette Was pre-determined to be the Batmobile for my Mego Batman and robin... This was the Christmas that my mom was over the whole Santa Claus thing and literally loud me to pick buy presents for the most part before Christmas those are what I picked out along with the Waltons truck and Kojak because it just happened to be at the PX where we shopped that year. I did not have a lot of choices and I was strictly into action figures and nothing else. I knew the big Jim was questionable because I did not like the way the head hair the whole thing looked... I thought the concept was neat But I hated it the second it was out of box. I couldn’t get over the playability of having his little head shake underneath his hair kind a reminded me of my grandfather who had Parkinson’s it just was not the figure for me. Another great episode Brian....
