Hey Simon, I hope you will read this. I am 18, and about a year ago, I got my first job working at McDonald's. That's when I realized how unforgiving the world can be when it comes to making money. I felt so hopeless at that time. I knew I could never reach my financial goals with that job, so I started looking for something better and decided to learn to become a software engineer. Even though I had school and worked 20-25 hours a week at McDonald's (to save up for a laptop), I used my free time to watch your videos and learn HTML and CSS. Today, I finished your JavaScript course, doing all the exercises. Despite the fact that I am working harder than ever before, I feel more satisfied with my future, and you are a big part of that. I know I still have a lot to learn, but I’ve started enjoying the process of learning and improving-something that school never gave me. You are a great teacher, and I hope you will read this comment. Thank you for everything.

I'm 11 hours in and what I really like about this course is the pacing. Even the simple steps like open folders and copying files it happens at the same steady pace, so unlike some courses that speed up and slow down depending on the task I don't get flustered and can maintain my focus. Because the pace is kept constant, what varies is the difficulty of the tasks themselves, so the simple admin tasks become like little mental breaks, and you also learn good file management best practice at the same time.

Hey there, I've been a close fan since you first dropped the remake of html and css tutorial, 2 years ago. I was one of the first comments. It's amazing to see how much audience you got in the meantime. Because of your tutorial on html and css I landed my first Wordpress job, and now I just got a junior role at Adobe as a front-end developer. It's amazing to look back at these tutorials and check out other opinions, other solving techniques. As we all know, it's possible to tackle JS in more methods, and even though I know everything from this course, I still watched it completely just to bring back the memories from where I was just starting out. I can't wait to have a community membership available, maybe even create a Discord for your community, I could help out with that. Kudos to you and I hope to see more videos from your side, where you talk more about your career, your day-to-day life, it would be amazing to see and I'm sure that if you're comfortable with doing that, you'd evolve so quick! Kudos again, I wish the best to you.
@luchian8962 Hi, I am really happy to see your comment. Thanks for supporting me throughout the whole time and I am happy that you were able to get into the industry -helping people to get into the tech industry was one of my main goals to start the channel. I am sure you are a very capable developer and a nice person. And yes, I am currently working on setting up the membership and try to create a community where people can take the journey together and share their experiences and learning. I will also be making some personal videos sharing about my career and life :) Thank you again for your support, people like you are the reason that I continue making videos and courses! I wish you best of luck in your career and life.
Woow Sir. Simon you are the best coding tutor i have ever met here on social media, i have been looking for coding ways, i even tried solo learn and others like W3 school but couldn't get it right, right now i have the knowledge on both layouts and styling using HTML and CSS respectetly. Whatever you are doing is so much complex that i don't think there is someone who can just sit down to edit those videos and stream them that long just to help somebody like me to gain your knowledge without even a penny, maan i cherish you, imagine learning coding in almost 1 month, which could have took me 4 years in school😂😂😂😂, i better learn this here I'm not going to school furthermore our Kenyan government is corrupt still rejecting the bloody finance bill 2024 by our conman😂😂😂 Lol Sir. Simon I'm proud of you. Knowledge is power❤
Thank you for these tutorials, I am halfway through your HTML & CSS course right now, and I am learning more than I've ever learned and I've actually bought books on programming, bough Udemy courses, and tried many other RUclips channels - yours is the best at explaining! And you do this for free and offer certificates! I really appreciate the pace you teach at and you always take a lot of time to explain concepts. I wish there was a way to five you 5 stars or an awesome review! Thank you so much! When I land a software development job, it's because of your channel!
@@ErenMC_ No I'm not finished just yet with the HTML/CSS course. But I've already built a simple website on the internet after just 3 hours of learning the course - he also has a wonderful 28 minute course on making a live website through Githib pages. It was so easy because his explanations are very thorough. He even breaks down how the internet works and servers with easy to understand graphics. I actually feel very confident that I can be a software developer because of his classes. And if you really wanted to, he offers certificates on his website for $33. Not too bad, really.
Day 7 and I'm at 4:15:20. Complete beginner here. This is the best course I've seen so far, primarily because of the pace and simple explanations. My greatest win so far is that I can create the calculator and the rock-paper-scissors game without referring to the video. Just knowing the steps is a big deal for me. At this pace, it might take me 4 weeks to complete this course but I am all in for this.
ill be honest, I finished the course and it took me 3.5 weeks. I understood almost everything up until 15.34 (Testing). I feel like after that everything was rushed

@SuperSimpleDev You’re a genius, this is the perfect tutorial I’ve been longing for. I’d to know if you have a FullStack Web developer course on Udemy? I’d like to purchase your course and if you do please direct us to your page. Furthermore, if you don’t have yet I could wait a little more if you can get the course to Udemy while I practice with your tutorial here. You’re the best programming tutor I’ve ever seen.
Wow!! I just started Lesson 2 of your old JS course, and was so impressed by your super simple explanations. And bang! Here comes your latest version! Never expected that you'd remake a 1-yr old course that's been replayed 4.25 M times and collected 89 K thumbs-ups, and even double its content, for free! Salute to your passion for teaching and hard work.👍Thank you!🙏
Well.. Finally finish this course in a month + did all the exercises there is to do. For anyone who's wondering if it is worth watch or not, then i must tell you some of the key point about this course. I haven’t seen any JS course with this much exercises and projects. Not to mention the teaching style. His teaching style is no joke😅, trust me on this one. Overall if you take your time to finish this course meaning doing every exercise there is to do then i can say you would have much better knowledge on JS. Wishing you the best of luck❤.

ANYWAY i think I'm at the 2 weeks mark and I'm halfway through the video. I expected this to take me about a month to complete, so I'm on shcedule.
Hey man. I didn't think you'd ever post again but I'm glad to see you've posted again. In actual fact, I'm literally excited to dive into this 22 hour long course because I want to open up a software company one day but I need to start small so a Web dev company is the beginning. So thanks for this video and your html and css course. I really appreciate it. God bless man. ❤️
Is there a chance that I can get the course in pdf. Please, because what you display on the screen when you're explaining things could really be useful to go through just to refresh memory. This can save some time rather than rewatching the 22 hours again. Thank you very much. 😊
your explanation and lecture delivery is absolutely remarkable..i am an Engineer and ive just shared this course with my teammates that needs Javascript before starting Cypress.... i'm confident after this ,they dont need any other javascript course. You need to consider dropping backend courses.. no one will deliver it excellently to all kinds of people as you would.
Oh man, I’m about 14 hours in, and this is really making me understand the concepts of JavaScript a lot more. I’m taking all the notes in Notion for further review. I’m also doing my best to let all the ads play, (even the 4 minute ones😅). It’s the best way I can show my appreciation at the moment. Just wanted to take the time to say thank you for your amazing lessons! Back to the video😁
After 12hrs of this course, I was able to automate a 2hr+ weekly work task using a function, a loop, and 4 modules in Excel VBA. I used ChatGPT to help me translate JavaScript syntax to VBA to do it. It's a super cool feature, thank you!
arrghhhhh Your second exercise had me perplexed .. not so much the task but the question itself . Soup + 3x Burgers and an ice cream . Que whats the cost of for one individual ?. of course 3 burgers divided by 3 ,. sure thats works .. but hold on theres just one soup and one ice cream. What 3 guys are sharing from a single bowl of soup and ice cream ! surely this question is tricky and trying to misdirect me . Observed your answer only to realise developers are broke and actually do share from the same bowl of soup. ! Enjoying your lessons bro 😁

REACT COURSE PLZZZZZZZZZZZZ😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
Woow Sir. Simon you are the best coding tutor i have ever met here on social media, i have been looking for coding ways, i even tried solo learn and others like W3 school but couldn't get it right, right now i have the knowledge on both layouts and styling using HTML and CSS respectetly. Whatever you are doing is so much complex that i don't think there is someone who can just sit down to edit those videos and stream them that long just to help somebody like me to gain your knowledge without even a penny, maan i cherish you, imagine learning coding in almost 1 month, which could have took me 4 years in school😂😂😂😂, i better learn this here I'm not going to school furthermore our Kenyan government is corrupt still rejecting the bloody finance bill 2024 by our conman😂😂😂
Lol Sir. Simon I'm proud of you. Knowledge is power❤
Can you make videos on REACT please. Its a humble request.
And thank you for your hard work
How do I donate? I mean ur actually the best i am not even kidding. From being broke to making 15k GBP a month is crazy ngl.
Is your course done? How was it
@@ErenMC_ No I'm not finished just yet with the HTML/CSS course.
If you are viewing this, just know it's the best JavaScript tutorial you will ever find.

Finally a real comment from a beginner, not all those complete course in 2 days guys.....
How's your journey going for you?
Thank you for this course! I am currently following your HTML & CSS tutorial and it has been a great learning experience for me! 🙂
Great to hear :)
ill be honest, I finished the course and it took me 3.5 weeks. I understood almost everything up until 15.34 (Testing). I feel like after that everything was rushed
one thing that i can say is that, at least I've seen the content. Now most JS syntax wont be new to me. From here on out, Im going to take the CS50 course
loved your course thank you for the exercises i am on chapter 5
6hrs already into it and I feel like a dev 😂😂... Big up man 🤟... Much love from Kenya 🇰🇪

Hi, sir.
I found your tutorials incredibly useful especially Html and Css. Will you record React js/ts. I'll be so happy

Salute to your passion for teaching and hard work.👍Thank you!🙏
This video is a complete javascript book not just playing around. Thank you.
Wishing you the best of luck❤.

arrghhhhh Your second exercise had me perplexed .. not so much the task but the question itself .
