Thank you Gaynor for sharing your process and your art. I've been scuffling for so long with my own art but watching you and how you move from piece to piece, and just have so much fun with the process and the experimenting, has given me a whole new energy to pursue my art. It can feel like a lonely/limiting process at times, but watching your videos has definitely freed me up to be myself with my art and to find the joy again in creating. Thank you so much!
Hello Bruce, Thank you for watching and leaving a fantastic comment. I am so pleased to read that you are reconnected with your art, that makes my week ! 🥰
❤. You are an incredibly delightful addition to the artists sharing on RUclips. I’ve enjoyed everyone of your videos - sharing your practice and your insights through self-reflection are truly gems! Thank you!
I enjoyed this Gaynor. I never thought of applying the gel plate straight into a sketchbook - I must try it! As I do collage I was looking intently at the paper strips you used on the gelli plate to make your marks. All the painted paper pieces now co-ordinate with the printed cards. I would be collaging on top of them with those lovely paper strips! 😊
AHH Marsha, we are in tune, I have realised they would help with lifting things from the gel plate, but, what a great idea for keeping my dirty hands from clean work ! Thank you 🥰
@@gaynorpattle Thank you for your reply. I had thought I saw a label on the back of the card. Do you have a stamp to show you made the cards. Which by the way are beautiful!!! I love your Videos!
It is nice that you zoom in on your cards etc, but while you zoom in, the viewer is not able to actually see what it is. Then you Cut it off the moment you have zoomed in, and the viewer has no chance to focus on it. In total the viewer never gets a chance to see what it is, SO frustrating, 😭😫
Hello Susana, My husband has raised the same comment ! It is not my intention to cause frustration and hopefully I will improve my video skills - thank you for bringing it to my attention.
Such wise words... really struggled to get into my creative flow over the past 2 weeks or so... so thank you for the important reminder that "when there's an ebb, there will be a flow". Needed to hear that. 🥲💙....

Love the painting behind you in the beginning of the video 😊
Very helpful advice, thank you 😊
Thank you Rebecca 🥰
Great!❤ thanks so much. Love the way you figured out how to make a paper border on the gel plate.
Thank You X
Your enthusiasm and joy in your work is contagious.
Morning Pat, a lovely comment to read over breakfast this morning. Have a great day with lots of creativity 😊

So much fun, Gaynor! I must get my mini gelli plates and Posca pens out and have a play😀
Really pleased you enjoyed it ! I love to hear that other creatives are having a play !🥰
Great idea to go back and read what you wrote a year ago. I must try that! It certainly would help me see if I've moved forward any!
You will be amazed !
Love these!
❤❤❤
THANK YOU X

Hi Simone, like you I imagine, my collection of collage pieces grows almost daily !!! I can't bear to get rid of anything 😊
Hi Gaynor, to handle your cards you could move them with stamp tweezers. These are great. 🦋

So happy to have found you, love from Australia.
AHH Lovely to welcome you here
I meant the cards and sketch book printings 🌿
Another lovely inspiring video. 💐
Thank you Fiona 🙂
Do you purchase your card stock or do you make your own
Hi Lori, I buy card stock, mostly packs that come with envelopes - I have an assortment !

Do I understand your card process correctly? You make copies of a started piece and then add paint etc to the copies so that each card is an original?
It is amazing how many variations can come.....I start something, print, work some more, print, and paint ! I like that each card is different 😊
Lovely video but the music was doing my head in 😅
Hello Deborah, this made me laugh and I had to watch the video to remember, it does go on a bit !!! 😊
@gaynorpattle we both got a giggle out of it then Gaynor xx
You need to learn how to use the gelli plate
I know ! XXX
