What I admire from you both is your positivity. Also your attire. So often individuals are way too casual. You are always looking too also in supporting the locals. Yummy food. Stay well. I keep thinking your future student are going to be so motivated. ❤❤
Great video; like you folks, I was surprised to be told that the Old Town was actually 'new' as it had been razed by the Germans in WW2 ... what a great country, hope you make it to Krakow!
Hi, how interesting to find out Warsaw was faithfully rebuilt, it does look an elegant city. You also enjoyed a Gastronomically adventure !!!. Glad you achieved your dream of visiting the ancient forest of Poland, what a memory to treasure. Cheers, sleep well in La Bamba in the middle of those spanking brand new vans, xx
Oh that's amazing you met polish people who live in NI! We have a lovely huge Polish community here in Belfast! I was squinting to see if any of them were my therapist who's Polish, but no it wasn't her 😂 loving these European vlogs 💕
The piece of music from the concert is the same piece, from Chopin I believe, that Spielmann (played by Alex Brody) played for the German Gestapo Officer in the film, 'The Pianist', set in WWII Poland. One of my favourite films.
Warsaw looks lovely! I so want to go to Poland, my maternal grandmother was Polish, and I have always had a feeling I should see the country. My mom passed away, unfortunately, 3 years ago, but she had always identified strongly with her Polish ancestry. So I would likely cry if I got to go there 😅 But anyway, it looks like a great time! And omg- the food, especially the pierogis- it was making me so hungry. ❤
Honestly you guys really are amazing. To have the courage and foresight to do this at such a young age together, I have full respect. Not only will you both look back at this experience in 10 years and think it has benefited you both personally, aided your self development as people and provided essential experience for your careers but you will both have this experience as amazing memories for your relationship together. Thank you so much for sharing and inspiring the rest of us and I pray you are both blessed with nothing but great things in your future. Thanks also for getting back to me regarding the projector.
This seems to be a very interesting place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much! And please keep up the great job! Subscribed!!
"I'll just spend a whole day without my phone"... (my daughter faints in horror!) So are pirogis like pasties? Warsaw is so beautiful! I've added it to my list! The concert in the park looked lovely and the night market looked so cool 👍
Brilliant.. "Oh, we are in Warsaw aren't we? It so reminded me of the ending of The Italian Job where Michael Caine says...."Wait, I've got a great idea". Great seeing your viewers from Ireland too... serendipity
08:08 “I never see red squirrels, only grey” It’s funny hearing you say that, Izabel, because were I’m from (the Netherlands), we say the exact opposite whenever we’re in London for example. The grey ones are called Eastern grey squirrels and the red ones are European red squirrels, where the last name explains why they are more common on the mainland of continental Europe.
Fabulous Vlog once again Tom and Isabel. You've both got this wonderful natural ability to make the viewer feel as though they're right there with you.. Hope that visit to Warsaw has lifted your spirits somewhat after the long trek through the countryside of Lithuania (which was lovely too)..🙏 Fantastic editing as usual and really like the way Isabel has come into frame (from one side or t'other) in last few Vlogs. Brilliant... Stay safe.. 🚐👏👏☘ p.s. La Bamba looked just at home between the other jealous vans..😊
Warsaw looks so beautiful - what an amazing place! Mind you, the two of you bring everywhere to life. Good to see plenty of vegan options to be had too which is a big 'tick' for me ✅
I think war saw was voted to be in the top three cities for vegans! I’m sure I read that somewhere. Either way we found lots of amazing spots to eat, so glad we could find some traditional food as well
It looks like you enjoyed your stay in Warsaw! So unlucky I didn't know your videos earlier (I see on your instagram your in Pieniny already) otherwise I would invite you to see Otwock - green suburbia of Warsaw! Have that in mind next time and meanwhile enjoy your Poland experience!
Hello Susanne and Josefine, Thank you so much for your comment. It was so nice to meet you earlier. I hope you have a lovely trip home (either through Poland or towards Bratislava, either will be brilliant). All the best, Tom and Isabel xx
honestly it was so nice! too long in a city sends me loopy, the piano recharged me for the night. You guys would have loved the night market, we were saying we wished you were with us there
What is it about old town squares? 😍 I love old fashioned architecture. Not a lover of modern at all. Ps how do Perogies compare to Cornish Pasties? 🥟🥟🥟🥟
we were actually laughing a lot because all the souvenirs have them plastered all over the place, could make a fortune buying pierogi tea towels and selling them in Cornwall as pasties. They were good, but i mean if youre asking me to choose between anything and Cornwall there will only ever be one winner, hahaha
HAD ENOUGH? Retire or quit & work remote! A Fun Life with no politics, hate, adventure & Excitement Awaits You!🛩 Be at the TOP of your OWN chain of command! 🔵⚫🔵
We did read that it is the only place in the city you can drink in public, maybe we should have made some time for it. By the time we realised we were all the way out by the park
Similar to Cologne, Germany then - with the notable exception of the cathedral, Cologne’s old town was pretty much leveled in WW2 and rebuilt afterwards exactly as it was.
well, need to correct this one :p Niklas Koppernigk is actually natively from Ermland and not from Poland, he actually hasn't even spoken polish (there is no evidence for that). Nice to see Warsaw through your eyes though! Haven't been there for a few years now. :)
@@LostInTransit haha! :P Wouldn't trust Wiki too much, though. If you check who modified what, it's pretty "opinion orientated" :D He was born in Thron, Prussia. His dad was as much as possible known from Slovakia (a classic last name from that region), and his mum was born and breaded in Emsland, where Niklas spent most of his life and fought for Emsland. Since his native language was German, he studied in Bologna, Italy, enrolling in a German college. And last but not least, he wasn't actually the first one who figured out the part with the sun and the earth :P But he was one of the first European to do so. Hope I could help a little :)
@@maddinek so... Toruń (Thorn) from 1466 (Second Peace of Thorn) was Poland not Prussia. So Copernicus was born in Poland (in 1473). His family was neither German nor Slovakian but most likely Silesian. Before being student in Italy he graduated from University of Kraków in... well yeah - Poland. He spoke German (as a few other languages) as it was popular both in Toruń and in Silesia where his parents originated.
@@khangoor it was part of the Kingdom of Poland but still was Prussia - that was what the war between the Teutonic and the Kingdom was about. If you call it Polish by that logic, it would call my mum who was born in Soviet Poland actually a Russian?
Zero. Zam się wpisał na studiach jako niemieckiego mówiący. Żył i walczył dla Emsland, z swoją rodziną. Bez sensu.
Warsaw added to "must go to" list - looks lovely.
Glad to hear it!
I absolutely adore Chopin, he was the first classical composer that made me go HOLY shit I get why this era of music is loved by so many!
It was amazing listening to it lazing in the sun. It was ultimate bliss after the busy city exploring

What an open attractive city Warsaw appears to be. Its somewhere I wouldn't have thought of visiting, but you've changed my perception of it :)
Warsaw looks amazing thanks for all the footage it was great to see the beautiful architecture....😀
Delightful video, as always. So cool you ran into fans. It’s a good sign 😊

Enjoyed that video. I visited Warsaw and stayed in Hotel Bristol - nice hotel. Sadly, nobody was queuing up to meet me!
Those dumplings looked insane, and £2.50 a beer is making us cry as I am sure you know how much a pint is in Norway ha. Top tour of Warsaw! Chris :)
We went almost t total for our Norway trip, thanks for watching guys, we are saving your race video for tonight, excited to watch it!

the grey squirrels are actually Americans, the red ones are much loved in the UK but have been very nearly entirely bullied out

It was really good!
This is epic!
Love this Video, how good is Poland!? 😀
Would love to know the details of affording European van life in Summer haha
Just realised you have done a Q and A earlier 😅we will check that out!
Just remember that that video is for Norway, so the expenses were pretty high for the amount we were doing. It’s much more affordable now
😄 Norway and Poland. I can imagine the expenses are very different! Norway is on our list though, one day!
Hi you two, Josefine and me like very much your Videos. Have nice Trip and Time in hungary and Rest of your Journey. Cheers,

I once competed in a amateur iron chef type competition. The secret ingredient? Sardine. Preparation? Sardine pierogi.
