One of the great things about Green Day (beyond their music of course), is that unlike other punk rock bands at the time, they didn't take themself so seriously that they always had to be edgy. And this song and music video perfectly shows the serious and fun sides of Green Day.
I like the part where Tre Cool pulls a face, just cuz he always did that. They had a serious message here, but they were still Green Day. It's definitely admirable. And, wow, how applicable is their message for us right now?
@@dynastystar5515 Also they buy completely into the current propaganda, just like almost all other celebrities. I googled Billie Joe the other day and the first result was that he cancelled going to Miley's New Years party because he supposedly had been exposed to [big lie]. It's a good example of how decades of high-status living corrupts people and deadens their minds, even people who formerly were strong critical thinkers. It's interesting to imagine the Green Day of 2004 meeting the current Green Day and seeing what they've become. I'm pretty sure they'd be disgusted. But that's how most people from 2004 would feel about what's going on now.

It's beautiful to see what music itself does in our lives. What would my life be without music? I have no idea. I wouldn't be who I am, I wouldn't be me without green day. This Song is more relevant than ever now
One of the great things about Green Day (beyond their music of course), is that unlike other punk rock bands at the time, they didn't take themself so seriously that they always had to be edgy. And this song and music video perfectly shows the serious and fun sides of Green Day.
Yes kinda like yungblud
I like the part where Tre Cool pulls a face, just cuz he always did that. They had a serious message here, but they were still Green Day. It's definitely admirable. And, wow, how applicable is their message for us right now?
its a shame that they take themselves so seriously now.

Yeah I never trusted or believed the mainstream news and knew they were liars. Now libtards believe everything the mainstream news tells them to.

It's incredible to arrive here and read so many comments similar to everything I feel about green day. The love for them is alive, old and forever. It's beautiful to see what music itself does in our lives. What would my life be without music? I have no idea. I wouldn't be who I am, I wouldn't be me without green day. American Idiot for me is very important because it was the first CD I ever bought. It was all very important, the songs on this album formed my personality. 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤

@christopherknowles I'm more of a centrist actually. The dems have plenty of faults, the absolutely god awful economic management, the woke pc culture they've cultivated, and they also facilitated the biggest instance of blatant government overreach in modern history. But picking a convicted criminal and someone who fanned the flames of an act of literal treason over her? If I were you I'd have voted for no one, because they're just two sides of the same coin. But if I had to pick one, I'd rather go for the less insane one, and that'd sadly be the Dems
