The Hakurei Jinja Reitaisai is a doujin convention that focuses only on Touhou Project works.
Starting in Spring of 2004 and entering its 15th year in 2018, it is the longest-running and largest Touhou Project event in Japan.
Many fans of Touhou Project come from all around the world to distribute or obtain fan art, doujinshi, goods, arrangement CDs, etc.
as well as others who come to cosplay or to show off their itasha.
There are also several Touhou project related events that take place within this convention,
such as booths from large game making companies, or traditional Japanese festival games.
At the Reitaisai in Spring of 2018, the number of participants reached up to 52 thousand people and is continuing to grow every year.
These participants consist not only of old fans, but also many new fans including those who are in their 10’s and 20’s.

博麗神社例大祭是僅屬於東方Project的同人誌販售會。
首次於2004年的春天舉辦，而到今年2018年迎來了第15周年，是日本舉辦最久，最大規模的東方Project活動。
本活動聚集了全日本遠道而來的東方Project愛好者們，他們參加社團頒布自己的東方Project相關粉絲創作(同人誌(漫畫或小說，插畫集、周邊等)・編曲音樂CD等)、
Cosplay成自己喜歡的角色、或是現場展示自己心愛的痛車。
而與東方Project相關的活動節目也卯足了全力企劃，
像是遊戲公司的展示會，或邊吃著古早味零食並暢遊祭典活動也十分受歡迎。
2018年舉辦的例大祭，參加者已達52,000人，且規模還在逐年擴大。
參加者也多半是10~20歲的年輕人，由此可知這是個不停的有新血加入，具有活力的活動。
