I saw the fight through the window - it was so bad that there were multiple people on the sidewalk trying to sort of stop it - and despite it being a literal whirlwind of fur, I realized it was her in the fight, ran outside, and was hurtling at full speed towards it. I was 100% going to throw myself between her and the other cat bc I loved her more than anything, but she knew, and she stopped for just a second, looked over at me, and then broke away from the fight. She was so fiercely territorial of our yard that I honestly don't think she would have stopped the fight if it hadn't been out of concern for my safety. But, ironically, if she'd continued in the fight, she also likely would have been killed bc her injuries turned out to be pretty bad. It just wasn't obvious at first bc she was in shock and thus not really bleeding yet. So I guess we both kind of saved each other in the end.
Well at least they hadn't got to the stage of actually grappling. I tried breaking up a grapple once. It took my thumb nail more than six months to grow through.
It’s not funny at all. The piece of shit murder machines should never be allowed in nature. They decimate local native animal populations for their sick pleasure.

So cute.
Like saving a fish from drowning. He a little confused, but he got the spirit.
It's a baby goose not a duck
@@sasi5841 I don't think it was really trying to rescue it, they were meant to retrieve birds during a hunt. So the task in his mind was to retrieve the duck and give it to its owner. It's still cute either way :)

Fun fact, Golden Retrievers were bred to have the softest bites and softest mouths so they wouldn't damage the fowls and other birds when they were shot down by hunters during their retrievals.
So this situation the gosling was very VERY lucky to have been picked up by this dog in particular.

0:39 Well they're living up to the "retriever" part. They were bred to have gentle mouths.
I read that but I'm just curious to how they were bred to have gentle mouths, like what was the process 🤔
2:13 That's SO SO SO DANGEROUS.
You shouldn't EVER get between cats when they're fighting. My roommate tried to do that just last week, and he had to get seven stitches in his arm as a result. Not only can they injure you badly, but your wounds are also likely to become infected, especially from bites. The best bet is to try and scare them with a loud noise, or spray them with a hose if you have one. Brooms also work.
I'll stop a cat with a shotgun next time
Unless both the cats are your pet and love you , you shouldn't attempt that.
I'm impressed with how gentle the dog was with that duck.
