I feel that Han-Seo had the most stark character growth out of all, everyone else was just revealing different aspects of their personalities that was previously buried but Han-Seo actually overcame his fear and turned from a cowardly pushover into someone whom he and others could be proud of. I literally cried when he died, I was loving his character development so much and was guessing how much more he would grow and then he died. Kwak Dong-yeon did an amazing job with this character, I was fully invested in his storyline.
I love how he's taken all the compliments so well and he was flirting back with the fans, instead of just saying "thanks" or "its unbelievable"!! It was really sweet.
Han Seo would have lived if Vincenzo had just went to help him, they would have been able to deal with Jun Woo together. Cha Young would have been totally fine tbh.
Hell yeah! Cha Young was shot but she was not in too bad a shape. Vincenzo could have saved Han Seo as well. But I guess the makers wanted a bittersweet ending for Han Seo... So 😔

Even when he talks about Han-seo here at 3:58, it still makes me tear up thinking about the fate of the character. That is the level of impact that Han-seo' s character has, and honestly, he deserved better in all ways. It also shows how amazing Dong-Yeon is as an actor, and how he makes the viewers so emotional, and I hope to see him more in dramas.

I must be the only one who thinks his face looks really young. The minute I saw him in vincenzo I already knew he was the youngest cast member of the important characters. He definitely looks like he's in his early 20s.

I did too but I think everyone forgets that the reason most people weren't happy with his death was also because vincenzo didn't mourn him. No one did. The scene right after, vincenzo only talks about Cha-young shoulder shot. I wouldn't have mind Han-seo dying if it wasn't so poorly...recognized? By other characters.
@@adweller6110 i believe Han-seo growing on Vincenzo from much earlier would've helped with the mourning being more meaningful, but Vincenzo noticed how troubled Han-seo was and his craving for connection and appreciation from him even when he knew Han-seo had been the enemy all along and regretted his involvement, and that showed when Vincenzo told Han-seok "Apologize to your brother" and left him to die. To me, Vincenzo DID mind and avenged for Han-seo.

Whether he grew on him from the beginning of the show or the end (idk the time span but I'm pretty sure the plot took place within a matter of a few months max and Han-seo was on Vincenzo's side for maybe a month of that, maybe three weeks. Either way, the timing was very short for Vincenzo with any of those people he met yet he goes to Mr. Hong's grave and cares a lot about the Geumga plaza tenants, enough to have definitely went to any of their graves had one died. That's why the love story with Cha-young also made no sense and was stale as shit but that's going off topic. He did seemingly get revenge for Han-seo, that part I do agree with. He clearly thought about Han-seo during that time but it still wasn't enough. The man saved Vincenzo and Cha-young, saved Geumga plaza tenants, saved Vincenzo from the international police AND really, he's the one who brought Han-seok down. All while putting his life on the line, a life that he never really got to call his own until the very end. He gave all the tools Vincenzo needed in order for that to even happen. Had it not been for him, Han-seok would be in Mexico, enjoying a second life. And tbh, a part of me would have preferred that and Han-seo actually being evil. Because Vincenzo, Cha-young and Geumga plaza didn't deserve him. His brother didn't either but again, off topic.
