Napa is the seat of Napa County, California, in the heart of the Napa Valley wine region. Its downtown is known for late-1800s and early-1900s architecture, a riverfront promenade with shops and restaurants, and an arts scene anchored by the Napa Valley Opera House. The Oxbow Public Market houses a farmer's market and cheese shop, and the Napa Valley Wine Train visits area wineries via vintage Pullman cars.

You don't have to be "rich" to live there , nor to visit. About half the population is of Mexican descent and work hard in the wine industry. Beautiful town. I wish us Mexicans got more recognition for making that world class city what it is.
Everyone’s definition of “rich” isn’t the same. You do have to be pretty well off to live in Napa comfortably imo.

One thing with u Marwa, u read almost everything when it comes to posted signs which is very good. It’s really beautiful up there. The fruits in Napa Valley seems to be very good.

Yes its usually where the rich likes to go. Wine country. People usually go up there in a group or u go with ur friend or significant other. I hear it’s beautiful and it looks beautiful up there. I know u enjoyed ur selves up there. There is a movie star who has a winery up there and she also has a home up there. Enjoy.
Movie Director Francis Ford Coppola of Godfather 1,2 & 3. and of Dracula 2000 fame, lives in Napa Valley. You should visit his Wine Estate, and see his costume museum showing collections from his various movies especially #Dracula.

I don't know if you use a new camera, or it's because of the beautiful Napa but this vlog looks very professional and it was fun to watch. This is exactly the way to continue your vlogs Marwa. Things will only get better.
1Surinamer:. He was using a different camera a GoPro Hero 9. The Sonoma Valley is beautiful plus Marwa taping in 4k makes the video image really sharp.
The hero 9 has issues. It gives a “overheating” warning after 30min of filming.

I Marwa and Richard I used to live in San Luis Obispo county years ago we loved living there. It's very beautiful there. My son's went to school there great place to raise your children.

sohaib ahmed:. You have to take into account that that was a tourist area that they were staying. Here in my town in Georgia, USA a room at the Motel 6 is $62 dollars a night. That's a $40 dollar difference. By the way Motel 6 is a budget motel. They will leave the light on for you.
Yeah same here in North Carolina. I can find red roof inn in Greensboro, Nc for $54.99 a day. But in tourist area like Myrtle beach the prices increase dramatically.
@@sohaibahmed226 Yes. I was pointing it out because people in other countries think that all of the USA is expensive. Marwa is always in the more expensive areas of the USA. I think it would be great if Marwa visited a regular small town in the USA so that those people who haven't been to the USA can get a truer picture of this country. I would interested if he went to your town of Greensboro, NC. I would just like for him to visit somewhere in the southeastern part of the USA excluding Florida. Everybody goes to Florida so going there would not count.
Funny thing is Marwa actually came to Charlotte, NC which is close to my town. I was like what? He was just passing by though for a flight. Hell eventually come back though. I know hell go to Georgia

I love special order plancha toasted flour tortillas double layers of Seafood Burritos, stuffed with Blue Cheese dressing, Thousand Islands dressing, cocktail shrimps peeled, cooked rice, avocadoes, lots of fresh shredded: CILANTRO, green cabbage, lettuce, tomatoes, pickled carrots onions radish vegetables, hot pepper sauce.
I would've taken one of those pomegranate, they are delicious

You're doing some good traveling across the US, You have me thinking about a weekend trip out to Napa now. Motel 6 is known here as a low-budget and low-quality motel, Lol.
So at about 5 minutes you passed the napa state hospital. You didn't show it. It's a pretty serous mental institution. I think it's kinda funny that the most criminally insane people are kept.
In the back of the hospital there's a giant field you're not allowed on. It's a massive unmarked grave site where they buried body's of the people that were kept there.
There's incredibly dark history to that hospital. Plenty of local folk stories for sure.

Living in San Francisco I was a professional driver. Driving limos and party bus to Napa. Wine tasting is a great experience. Just remember to spit the wine out. Some people would get on the bus after drinking wine and sure enough they would threw up.😂 Beautiful art galleries downtown Napa. Enjoy 💯✌🏾

Marwa it’s not just people don’t want to work anymore but before COVID, there was a large group of retirees working part-time jobs, when COVID hit they stopped working and now you can see how many of the Baby Boomers were contributing to the job market. Easy to eat burrito, hold stuffed wrapped tortilla burrito in your hand to eat on the go, no plate and utensils required.
They just let you know what kind of food tree that grows in California. Some people rather buy in store and let the small animals and birds eat most fruit of trees. That yellow fruit is a persimmon tree. I like to eat them when in season( like now very sweet).

Marwa I think it was around 2009 that I was in California and my nephew graduated from university and my sister and niece decided to go to a few wineries one I recalled was in Rutherford Niebaum Coppola that was great too it was really an adventure we had a designated driver. I think we bought a case of wine and a few others Icame home with so much wine my husband asked me if I was going in to business. But he was happy to drink them .

Napa is in a poor county in comparison to Los Angeles, and the pay scale is much lower, so I doubt if one has to earn $8500 usd per month ha ha... Smaller town, and cheaper to live than West Los Angeles..

@@marie3503 I agree 100%.. That town is not all that rich, but to Marwa who comes from a Rural Village in Kenya, he think it is a wealthy town. Being a small dull town, I doubt if it is that expensive, depending on where you rent. I can look at how the people on the street dress and everything. Reminds me a little of an area outside of San Bernardino, Calif. such as Victorville, Apple Valley, Barstow and Baker while driving from LA to Las Vegas... Little dull country town where people who can't can't afford to buy homes in the LA and Long Beach area, usually buy homes in those areas out in the Boondocks, and have to drive farther to work in the big metro city areas..

There is nowhere in America that is restricted to only rich people unless it is a country club or facility where membership is required. If a vineyard is selling wine, anyone is free to visit and you are not obligated to buy anything.
I live in the US close to the Canadian border. We went on a trip to Niagara falls and just happened to see a winery owned by the great Canadian hockey player Wayne Gretzky's. We stopped by and tasted different whiskeys and wine in a cozy environment. The place is outstanding but the prices were affordable. Bought a few wine bottles for around $10 each , off course there were others more expensive. You buy what you can afford. The thing is you do not have to exclude yourself and that is what most people do. It has to do with attitude. We had a fun time, met a lot of people, one of the servers was a young guy from South Africa which is our next door neighbor being from Zimbabwe myself and we shared some stories.
