never forget looking at my uncles vietnam polaroids. I asked mom why does Uncle Done have red flowers on his necklace. Is he in Hawaii? . Next pictue he was holding an enemy up by the ears like a buck. Theflowers were ears on his dog tag necklace. Maybe thats why he had a joint in his mouth and a budweiser in his hand
No wonder they have PTSD and drink and do drugs. Nobody can remember the experiences of such horrors without it affecting them to their soul. Its so sad what military men go thru . No wonder they change and cannot talk about it...the one thing they need to do to heal. The brutality is incomprehensible
And all for the idea of fighting for your country and then your country abandons you after it puts you through hell. Nothing but respect for these soldiers after what they've been through
@@Kathrynloveiseverything I've thought about serving before and I legitimately would risk my life if: A) My country (the UK) were worth fighting for, it isnt B) I would be paid well for what I'd be doing, I wont be C) After my service I would be given the appropiate care if needed, I wouldnt. The system really is broken.
@LuckyNobody1 Very broken! That's all true here too. It's a very personal decision. It has to be from your heart. And many times, it is, but it's a HUGE sacrifice that is not acknowledged by our " leaders". To not be taken care of after the sacrifice, by our government, to live on streets and live with ptsd and not get medical care or a home, to be paid less than government employees, and not have their insurance, is such an insult nobody seems to understand. It's shameful. In saying that, you as a man or woman, could be very proud of yourself for having that courage to join up and see what you are capable of . You definitely learn life skills.
Sitting on air confessing of doing war crimes by himself and other members. I’m all for military intervention but war crimes are a whole other level. I apologize for this comment I miss understood how they got the prints I feel horrible.
@@Kektamusprime hey. I apologize I misunderstood how they got the prints. I take full responsibility for my comment and feel like a complete asshole and deservedly so.
Made me shudder when he mentioned removing teethe with a KNIFE
Sometimes the military asks you to "put the body back together" too.

@LuckyNobody1 So true, it adds insult to injury. It's sad and so disrepectful to them, to not honor them. Makes me angry and sad. 🩵🙏
