Ya i've got the same bike. and with a few small changes..i've got shorter bub pipes painfully loud without baffles, and just glass shattering with the baffles. With a hammerdrill and about an hour and a half you can put in a brand new all steel racing clutch direct from yamaha that came out mid june 2013...one tricky thing...you have to put in 17plates instead of the 18 that come in the package unless you want to change the spring plate and fuck around with it...my stock clutch put in at the dealership had 16 plates, the racing clutch i did myself had 17. Once you have the clutch together it rides like a different bike. no slipping whatsoever. i do about 12,000 to 15,000 miles a year and they are all hard miles and this clutch hasn't wore out in two years!
I never use the heel shifter either, the chrome bar on my fender is a Yamaha add on original part that i bought. The breather is a Hyper charger Pro, i also have the DynoJet kit installed with it, it makes for much better performance :) We both have great bikes :)
Dude this is a awesome video, I love the view from the front looking at the head and spot lights, I was thinking of doing that with my bike nicely done I loved all the different camera angles.
You can switch of the headlight completely on the european version of Road Star, no need to wire it. The suction cup mount is great, makes it easy to change position of the camera :)
Thanks for watching my, Old Man Motorcycle, video,,like all the views on this one, never thought of the front fender view, you must have the headlight wired, to turn it off.
good film angles you feel the heat from the asphalt., I like movies with such light becoming all warm inside. I long much to ride my Harley on the road at Stockholm Sweden
Enjoyed the ride. Question for you. Does it bother you to have to ride with your legs spread so wide to clear the air cleaner or does that riding position seem comfortable to you?
Mvh Tommy
Wildstar 1600 and the Roadstar 1700 your mirrors, chrome around your front finder is different and breather is different,,Probably changed them,Motor looks the same,Do you every use the heel shifter I never do,,Hooked the cam on it the other day.Nice bike for sure,Like the breather opening.
Tjena! Grym video!
I used the sound coming from the mufflers when the camera was mounted on the right side of the bike for the entire video, best place to pick up the sound. Thank´s for watching!
Ha ha yes i´ll do my best :) Don´t know if you saw it but at 1:34 and 1:58 i passed 2 Buddhist monks walking on the side of the road, pretty weird to see those guys walking out there in the middle of nowhere :)
I think this is the first video I uploaded on youtube, 8 years ago 😆
Love the look of the Yamaha!
Like the view from the front showing the headlights..............makes the bike look huge.
Thanks! I agree, the sound coming from a Vtwin is very special :)
Way to represent Sveeedennn! Nice video and audio. Love that rumble.
Thanks! Yamaha makes great bikes, i have had mine for 10 years and never any problems.
Enjoyed the video. Bike sounds great also. Makes me love my Yamaha even more.

Nice vid! Loved the shots.
And I love all the camera angles.
Exhaust note is crazy bro! Super aggressive sounding, like a pissed off T-Rex.
Vance & Hines Propipes does make a huge difference in sound! thanks bro!

Wow...very nicely done! Great cuts & editing...the sound comes through great. Nothing beats the sound of a Vtwin...
Keep up the great work...
Later.
That was the best compliment ever, i´m glad you are feeling better :)

I did that in Final Cut Pro X, by adjusting and tweaking the audio. thanks for watching.
This is a great vid. It's got attitude. Good editing. Sub'd!
I highly recommend it, Yamaha makes awesome bikes!
It does look like a joy to ride. Awesome video.
Been riding them for the past 40+ years. My current ride is a 1982 Yamaha XJ650 Maxim. I do a quick walk around in my newest video.
nice video and cool editing.
Suction cup gives you loads of options, nice vid!
Thanks for watching my, Old Man Motorcycle, video,,like all the views on this one, never thought of the front fender view, you must have the headlight wired, to turn it off.
Yep that angle gives the bike a monster look :) thanks!
Thanks a lot! Yes, a Vtwin has a very special sound :)
Thanks a lot! I appreciate your comment and sub :)
good film angles you feel the heat from the asphalt., I like movies with such light becoming all warm inside. I long much to ride my Harley on the road at Stockholm Sweden
Thanks! No it does´nt bother me, if I ride for a long time on a highway at high speed i can feel it but the wind in my chest is more tiresome.
Nice view points... The bike sounds great. :D
Hi1 Fine video! You have the passion, for driving and filming. I especially like the camera angle form the gas tank towards you.
Thanks, glad you liked it :)
I can feel the joy. Or is that vibration? Nice vid, the front of headlights view is killer :)
I don't use the heel shifter either, don't know many riders that do.
How did u eleminate wind noises??? Need to know. Great video and lovly wild star!
Thanks RC62!
Thanks, glad you like it! Cheers :)

Thanks, i appreciate both comment and sub :)

Thanks man! i think so to :)
Yep, it is a 340 kg vibrator :D Thanks for watching and comment!
Yes it works just great, fast & easy way to change set ups :) thanks!
Thank you very much :)
Great channel, just subbed you. Cheers from Oz!

Ahaa, du har micken nära avgasrör. Undrade just varför man inte hör ventil-ljudet. :o)
Thanks Boris!

Congrats to an excellent choice :)
Cool vid. Nice editing.
rsmf...
Thank you, it turned out pretty well considering i have only 1 camera, this is really low budget filmmaking haha.
definitly 1 bike i would like to ride after i,m done with my xv 700 virago.
I know! I've got XV1600 ;)
Very cool, subbed also ; )

mullrar gött, najs! :o)
VrnVrrrrrrn - NICE Wild-a
Do they have good torque
Yes
@@GurrasGaragei'm thinking between this & VN900 Kawasaki, the price different is huge so do you think its worth it if i choose this
@@famebox I think so yes, XV1600 is a beast in comparison
not enough camera angles :P ... just kidding... nice views.
Thanks a lot :)
