Cannot wait to be back in my home from homes. 39 days and counting. Tenerife is one of the best wee islands in the world, and I for one will move there one day. Even when it is like this, it's still beautiful.
We had a blue moon last night which doesn't happen often hence the saying once in a blue moon maybe that's why it's affecting the tides as the lunar effects the seas
The lad that got swept away was my brother kinda sad how he didn’t mention the fact that I jumped in to save him and failed horribly we both barely survived traumatic and now he has ptsd abt it he brought it on himself by saying “is that all you got”. Beforehand he wouldnt have survived if it wasn’t for a man who must’ve been an angel in disguise but we’re ok now. Costa Adeje Tenerife Tuesday 20th August 2024 is the date time and place
Wow thanks Andrew for showing us all unbelievable to see our favourite places all washed away thank god everyone safe and nobody hurt and yes watch them flags guys the weather can the so quick great thanks again Andrew stay safe x x x ❤
très bon blog très interressant de voir ce qui se passe. merci pour toutes ces mises a jour . bon rétablissement a laura.❣vous etes de très belles personnes.
We are in Las Americas at the moment - Palm Beach Hotel - we never ever saw waves like this. Looks beautiful, but at the same time, it's so scary and dangerous, and after all , rain 🌧 - but we still enjoy our holidays. We love Tenerife ❤
The same thing happened around this time last year when I was in Tenerife. We had a couple of days of strong winds and high seas, which caused coastal / beach damage.
Hi Andrew, thank you so much for the vlog today the waves were amazing! Thank you also for information in the GHIC card ours were out of date when I checked 😊
We came back from Lanzarote last Wednesday after a wonderful week of sunshine. Not sorry I missed this weather. Will still travel back later in the year, mainland Spain-has great wether. The canarires are more suitable for the minter months October to March
Hi Andrew just watching bit of a catch up poor Laura ❤ she definitely needs to be out of the hospital where she is rite now no vitamin d that in itself makes you feel unwell hopefully she feels better soon , beach looks crazy
Man, you are so lucky! We also own an apartment there, its actually right next to you in the video in parque santiago 3 but had to go home 2 days ago because of school
We have been in Puerto de la cruz for a couple of days and it’s been cold. Rainy. Not seen the sun. Massive waves that are battering the Lago Martianez we have been in today. It’s been awesome 🤣 Going back to the south tomorrow. We always get a car from Sanasty and it’s worth every penny to get us all around the island to see the amazing places it has to offer and the different remarkable climates.
It was a very good tenerife weather update blog today of the huge wave cause havoc on tenerife south beaches Las Americas and Los cristianos on a Scorchio day in tenerife on your tenerife walking tour for the tenerife vibes andrew
Where coming over to Tenerife for the 1st time in January 2025 for hopefully a bit of winter sun, are most places still open? Is the weather ok in January?
new or full moon), the solar tide has an additive effect on the lunar tide, creating extra-high high tides, and very low, low tides-both commonly called spring tides.
No offence to anyone who loves Tenners 🙏 Ive been going benidorm for like 25-30 years and absolutely love it! But....my mum and aunty went tenners about 20 years ago and their feet were absolutely black from the sand 😮 lol baring in mind they did love ever minute they were there, but it totally put me off :/ not only that though (like benidorm, which has never ever happened to me, i heard it's bad for being robbed!!) So ive never fancied it! I've always gone abroad with my not so little man anymore, 😢😢 my son is now 17 yrs old, so would love to show/take him somewhere different for a change 😊 Any advice/good incentive would be appreciated 😊 TIA Sharon ;)

Just for those who say it's cloud seeding( whatever that is ) and its climate change no its not we had a blue moon, which can affect tides, ect, its mother nature at her best !
Thanks for your time and update on the weather front, Andrew. U don't compete with Mother Nature and the Sea and have a bit of common sense if the waves are coming in hard like today ?

Hey uhh… I was kinda the one who got swept out (I’m fine now)
Huge Tides/Waves, Ought not to be a shock considering the Super Blue Moon a couple of days ago.

😂😂😂😂
Im from Australia, they're baby waves
Crazy this? We flew back from parque Santiago 3 yesterday after 2 weeks of non stop sunshine … can’t believe this Andrew
we arrive at parque Santiago 3 next week, we can't wait.
High tide and waves probably linked to the "Supermoon" phase this week.
what is supermoon?
@@stilu2012 The moon phase brings it a little closer to earth in its orbit. It appears quite large, tides are directly associated with the moon.
Never seen this before
Hi the Andrew hope you are OK and well and the family the weather looks mad
Spring tides (way higher than normal for here) the waves were NOT high at all, tide height and wave height are two totally different things!
The same thing happened around this time last year when I was in Tenerife. We had a couple of days of strong winds and high seas, which caused coastal / beach damage.

Hello Andrew, Hope you enjoy the vlog
Very unusual to see our favorite beach like that Must have been some wave to do that damage Hope all good with Laura ❤️❤️

That's the result of hurricane Ernesto in the open Atlantic.
Wow this time last week we were swimming in that sea 😮😮
It was pretty rough up north today, coming over the sea wall.
Very unusual to see our favorite beach like that Must have been some wave to do that damage pity
Hope all good with Laura We are thinking of her ❤️❤️

thanks for interesting video Andrew. Any info on playa de la arena which always has strong waves even when everywhere else is flat ?
The princesa Dacil hotel bless it
This happens , in fl, ca and other places and carribean
Cloud seeding?
Its too do with the moon and tides goes high, moon closer to earth
Why do you never mention or film La Palapa beach club when going past it Andrew ?

I’m sure the Surfers 🏄♂️ will be raging not getting in the sea 🌊. Back out in a few weeks 👍
Wondering if the Super Blue Moon was potentially part of the cause of this...moon activity regularly affects the seas

Looks black and muddy I bet it looks amazing again in 24 hrs tho
Its time you woke up its geo engineering
It's to do with the supermoon when it's at it's closest orbit around the earth.
It's a big swell nothing unusual
whats the cause? volcanic activity way out in the atlantic?
The world is going to explode...weather everywhere is so bizarre

No more drug dealing goed on here that it does in the town you live in. We also dont have sny knife or gun crime like the UK does
Wow, never seen such big waves......c'mon, absolute crap.
weather doesn't look that good
why these waves are happening,is it global warming?
@@stilu2012 apparently there is a thunderstorm in the next few days, im currently in las americas and earlier the waves were going to the restaurants
