Max Clark is the top ranked player in high school baseball -- and arguably the biggest star since Bryce Harper. He's amassed a following of over 400,000 on social media, and at only 18-years-old has been the focal point of baseball's "new age of the game" surge since committing to Vanderbilt at only age 14. He throws 99 MPH off the mound, hits 450-foot homers, and garners nationwide coverage to his hometown of Franklin, Indiana to watch him showcase his abilities. This has been my favorite episode yet to make, and I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did. LET'S GO. 🚀

108mph 10 yard dasher
80+ in 7th grade is god given talent
Throwing isn’t a talent it’s 80% genetics
@@zacfiore3166 and that is why you have always thrown 60 💩 you convince yourself it’s not possible and it’s all genetics, you can’t train yourself to throw hard. That’s Bull. I have gained 8mph in the last year as being 5’9 it’s possible you just convince yourself it isn’t and it’s clear you haven’t at least tried to put the work in to gain any.
@@martindeslugger8048 Hard work is what it takes. I’ve always had great mechanics and a whippy arm, but weighing 145 lbs at 6’1” I would top out 83. I left the game for 3 years, started working out and put on 20 lbs. Even though I didn’t really pitch over the 3 years, I started averaging mid 80’s topping out at 87 in just one month.
@@zacfiore3166 that’s only half true. Of course genetics help but I’ve seen guys who weren’t gifted work hard and become really good
@Zac Fiore God-given talent is implying you have good genetics
Yall be so mad when high schoolers are proud of their achievements. Calling him arrogant? Bro throws 96 at 17, what do you want him to say
who called him arrogant. cause i don’t see anyone saying that
I don’t see anybody mad in the comments. He’s talented, We all on the same page bro.
You're literally arguing with no one bro💀
Why are you talking to yourself bro
Seemed pretty down to earth
Not arrogant at all man. You were blessed💪
@starcasm thanks dog
Imagine going to your kids game while they’re 13 and some kid is throwing fucking 80 mph at the plate …😅😅😅
Been there. Dudes looked all at least 15 😅
Lol jacoby jones billy Hamilton both were I hit the 83 84 at 14 going into 9th
From 54 feet as well
Small ball baby, or actually some kids have some massive bat speed that can dominate this type of pitching, take into account he’s dialed in and not hitting people and all over the place.
My son will become a soccer player that same day
“I was just throwing fuzz balls” 🤣😂🤣🤣🤣
I like how he said that he’s blessed rather then born with it. Shows a lot of humbleness despite it clearly being that he’s just extremely naturally talented.
I’m blessed with…really good teamwork
What does team work have to do with throwing hard
Relatable
@@idek256 this joke flew over your head
@@idek256 How does it feel to be the only person that couldn’t understand it’s a joke😂
@@loganthomas7379 great
I threw a 105 against the Buffalo Sabers in 1987, almost got a touchback but the defender unfortunately moved his rook to G8
He sacrifices… THEEEE ROOOOOOOOOOK
Oh yea I remember, I also play that sport
THEEEE ROOOOKK
I’m so confused rn
You forgot it’s the Toronto sabres not buffalo
Max clark is so fucking good
I wanted to hate this kid when I first saw him, but it's solid that he stayed at home, played with his friends, who clearly have his back, and was willing to get the glory games in the circuits and come home to, to be fair, struggle, with his friends and high school. He could have played anywhere, and someone would have helped make it happen. He wasn't ducking...still played the club/all star stuff. He is very confident. He should be
Hope he stays healthy and that he has a good family and team around him to keep his head on straight. Kid throws gas.
Velo is short for velocity
Unless he has a velociraptor
thats exactly what he meant. he throws 99mph fastballs, thats his VELOCITY
99 ovr velociraptor is op ngl
@@ratryox5667 hey, he could be throwing 99 velociraptors🤷♂️
Underrated comment
@@ratryox5667 woooosh
seems crazy humble i hope he does well in the MLB
He is just stating a fact and maybe 🤔 arrogant but no pride he’s a humbled young person and still has a lot to learn in life as we all do!!!
Max Clark is so good
Good for him! Kid has every right to be proud of that type of speed! That’s absolutely insane🔥
Not arrogant at all and dude has the self awareness to further clarify. Rooting for this lad
Be proud of urself. Ain’t shit wrong with that. Y’all saying stay humble but nah. He can talk himself up. He’s a beast
Fr this dudes about to go top 3 in the mlb draft he’s legit
Ya Clark has a absolute cannon
And he's mostly just an outfield prospect, lol.
Mostly?
ya bc he throws 103 and hits dingers what position would u put him at
@@nappi5002 he does not throw close to 103
@@dakodafisher2034 Judge’s max velo from the outfield last year was 98.8
He actually does through 103
He’s Blessed.
I hope he doesn’t hurt his arm.⚾️🇺🇸
I hit 96 at 17. Then my shoulder exploded and I wouldn’t find out until I was 35 that I have thoracic outlet. Good times.
hope to see him in the league
He's a very good player I think he's gonna make it either way with a talent like that it might be guaranteed and he can hit a lot of homers too
@@imjustbetter3093 at that point all you gotta do is not over do it and just let the body and brain mature
@@AVar5 that's true most players at his age try to over due it and end up blowing out they're arm and never gonna be able to play again.
@@imjustbetter3093 🎯100%. do as much training as he wants his body won’t peak till it’s naturally ready to
You will
Baseball has an incredible way to humble guys down with just one bad pitch. This kind of flexing ain't gonna take you far even if you have God gifted talent like he has.
There's a difference between confidence and arrogance this kid isn't arrogant or "flexing" he's just telling it like it is
If he worked his ass off to get here, he can talk all the shit he wants. And he was nice about it. I’d be yapping my ass off
And that’s why you will never ever be famous nor make bread 🤷♂️
like his kid - hope he has the future we think he could!
Vibes man
loved meeting this guy at the powerhouse facility down in franklin. i used to play for powerhouse and we would sit there just watching him pitch in absolute amazement for hours one end.
Impressive, Ive been waiting for the next Nolan Ryan....
I'm going to be watching Max Clark to see what happens with him. It's going to be exciting.
Humble too! 💯
32 degrees throwing heat to his catcher in the 90’s I already feel the pain
That’s insane dudes going places
dudes insane
I played in the LLWS and hit 74 when I was 12, I think that was a pretty great accomplishment lol
This kid is the best athlete to ever live
cant wait to see him in the bigs
Jfc 7th grade throwing that heat is wild.
*ball flies by* man when is this guy gonna pitch
Bro imagine going up to the plate with a lefty throwing 80 in 7th grade😂
Bro throws straight piss missiles
6th grade in 63
Max went to my high school
I throw like 77 and I’m in 8th grade how is bro throwing this hard? 96 is insane at only 17 tho props to him
Good for you young man!
Your doing amazing keep it up bruh
82-83 in 7th while I am only throwing 67-68 in 7th😂😂
yea im like 70-74
Bro can get into weird positions
Bro 7th grade 82-83, 7th grade sitting 60-61
I turned 13 not to long ago and I sit high 60s and if my arm is feeling good I can sit around 70-71
Like this kid 🙏
bro throwin 80+ in 7th while i can barely hit 60 in 10th 😭😭
This is the definition of I’m not going to brag but
bro is the next Randy Johnson
Hard to impossible to believe he threw 99 in the freezing cold. That would mean he’s got one of the best arms on the planet as a 17 year old outfielder
Pg says he topped 92
Damn. I remember when I was in little league, there was a pony league game going on at the same complex and a ton of people were watching this game. We decided to check it out and there was a kid on a 14U team who was only 13, he was 6’3”, lanky, lefty. He was getting clocked at 82-85. Then he popped an 87. He also went yard. That was almost 15 years ago and I have no clue who he was. But I imagine he’s in the league if he didn’t have a serious injury. Then I got to face a kid throwing 85 at 14 but he quit baseball before high school to focus on football. He didn’t go anywhere for football.
Bro was 1.2 mph from tying the all time record😱
He’s straight cappin bro, 83 at 7th grade is wild.
Not in this generation
This guy knows himself
Throwin fuzz balls
More importantly probably has a ton of movement on his fastballs, that's the key!
Man in on the same path in 8th thrown mid 70s high 70s
Im sorry did he say 82 in 7th grade… thats like almost 20 mph faster than me 💀💀💀
You can only be blessed too throw that hard in highschool I feel like, and too throw for years on end is crazy and impressive my arm would be fucked
Fuzz balls 💀
He was throwing some stinky Parmesan cheese
Cranked 😂
I think a lot of people think hes arrogant, maybe not but I don't think he is. You gotta have some confidence, if your not confident in yourself your not gonna do well. That's one thing I struggled with is confidence. After covid especially I just didn't look at baseball the same anymore. After not playing for a while I just lost motivation and I was not confident in my abilities, I was always looking for approval from someone my whole time playing and I realize now that's good and bad. I just relied on approval from others more than believing in myself.
1st clip might have been at my high school. Last clip is also at my high school.
7th grade 🤯🤯 I feel bad for what those kids had to go thru but they definitely got better
I’m in 7th grade and I throw mid to high 50s bros a stud
No offense but high 50s in 7th is very bad bc mainly all the pitchers in 7th throw mid and high 60s or some pitch 70s
would suck to have to see him get tommy john
He reminds me of Anthony Gose Speed Arm Strength out of High School but with a Better Projectable Bat✅
As a 7th grader I can’t imagine hitting agains low 80s
I threw like atleast 80mph in gr 8. Thought I'd be going to the majors for sure. I sorta peaked at 85 lol
He could have taken human growth hormone or other peds to throw so hard.
What a beast 🔥
He throws that hard and his main position is outfield
This was against my high school
Symbolism is everything. She's in the club. 👁🤫
S.O be like 😂😂😂😂 still get homers when you at 104. Awaits you in the mlb in future
This kid has excellent talent but can he finish a word without abbreviating?
I can throw an upside down at 428mph change up
I’d be cocky too if I was the next Shohei
I’m in 7th and I only throw 63-66 but I’m usually a first baseman and I’m a good hitter
Interviewer asked “what’s your max pull down”
What is he referring to regarding the pull down
A pull down is when you basically take a running start and you throw as hard as your can into a net. You throw harder than your usually flat ground or mind due to the running start.
It is when you get a short running start and then throw it into a net
@@Beast_prodz6 thank you my friend!
wait my body can do the same maybe i just need his muscle😂
He could be the next shohei
God Bless!!!!
I am at 65 in 7th grade bro can throw heat
84mph in 7th grade is horrifying.
I hit 77...at 15. Next time I threw that kind of sick heat was a 74 at the guess your speed cage at the fair. I was 23, and my arm nearly flew off. Cause I had so much power. Hurt for about a month
I'm blessed with destroying the 60mph at the batting cages. Anything beyond that I'm swinging at air
Be fair to yourself, tho...those are usually at 46 feet, so 60 is like nearly 80 on a full 60'6".
7th grade 82 is not normal
Damn so you’re telling me I faced 82-83 when I was 13. Bc I faced him at grand park in 13u and he walked me. That shit was fast. We got smoked 10-0
i was blessed with good armspeed aswell. Not like him but i throw 73 at 12 about to turn 13
Where this dude now!? MLB?
i guess i’m doing pretty good I through 83mph in 8th grade
Yah brah. Hella velo fa shaw.
I want to watch him
One of my friends is in 7th grade and he can easily throw 80 mph
Go bulls
