    Main thing for me is just keeping an eye on your opponents board just to know when they've finished their throw. Sometimes you hear a noise and think it's a dart but it's something else. Never start throwing until your opponent has input their score/called their score.

    I had an opponent take his shot while I was in the middle of a 126 checkout, I had nailed the 2 T19's but I had to check the second one was in and just as I was set to throw for the D6 I heard the thud from the camera. I was winning the match at the time but I couldn't get that out of my head I was so annoyed. I ended up losing the leg and eventually the match.

    I disagree slightly on putting the score in then retrieving. I use target DartCounter and I like to see my opponents throw that’s why I always go up to the board and then put my score so I can watch them throw their darts.

      @@hodge1013 that is the wrong way of doing it but IMO and I would say in the opinion of most other people. But it is just my opinion so what ever best suits you really
