Overlanding Central Kalahari Game Reserve | Searching for Lions | Episode 1

With months of planning and 1000's of kilometres apart 4 RUclipsrs decided to go on a journey together into one of the remotest regions in Africa, the Central Kalahari Game Reserve (CKGR). Not only did we enter the CKGR, but we transversed it's great plains from North to South. A journey that took us 12 days to complete with plenty of challenges in the way. From rain, to capturing wildlife at it's very best in terms of kills, punctures and far far too many snakes, it was an adventure second to none.
In this episode we explore the greater Deception Valley, Leopard Pan to Letihau, most of the CKGR has boomed with greenery from the amount of rainfall it has received over the last few months. Game is abundant and easily spotted, lion can be heard all night and extremely close to camp, often finding tracks in the camp itself.
Luckily in this episode we avoid the rain, but at the same fold spend a large amount of time running away from it. The kalahari is one of those places that once you have been it touches your soul, you will never be the same, join us in our adventure as we take you with us on our Kalahari Safari.
