I'm curious to know how the product is holding up so far. I'm considering using this product but there is not much info on the internet to do a research. Thanks!
It has gone through a summer and a winter with no chipping or spalling off, and we froze several times this winter....when you winterize you need to put an expansion piece in your pool though, which is pretty standard practice. I use inner tubes to absorb the pressure that the ice would otherwise put on the walls.
It took me right at 10...I initially figured 9, but the first coat took more than expected and I had to use a 6th because I needed to use about half of it. The issue was you can't 'put it back' once you mix it, so I had to use it all up. The second coat used less because my initial coat had to cover so much damage and spalled areas. This pool is fairly small, about 9500 gallons, and a 'cocktail' style, so if your pool is larger I would anticipate more kits being needed.
@@Xhalegaming My pool is really small, about 9500 gallons. 15x24 and 3' deep slowly going down to 5' deep. 26 may be pretty accurate if your pool is deeper than mine as well. Accounting for a few extra bags too
I didn't chip my old plaster just cleaned well and etched with TSP. I did repair heavily spalled areas with their pool plaster patch repair before topcoating with the actual coat.
Thank you for sharing!!

will roll on plaster work if your pool has been stripped from all the old plaster and only gunite is exposed?
I am not sure, you'd have to ask the company and get their opinion
how many kits did your pool take?

Question, I'm thinking about doing the same project to save $16k, Do I need to chip off all the old plaster on my pool?
