On that STA-Bil. Use the measurement cup on the bottle. Match the amount too the fuel. Too much STA-Bil will gum up the works.
Also I close the fuel shutoff and run the engine until the carb is dry so the fuel doesn’t slowly evaporate in the carb bowl and leave the additives in the bowl.

I mean, it started right up and made good power. I haven't had any problems.

Hello, in case of power shutdown, I have 2 backup solutions: 3000W Generator and 3000W solar panels. 9000W that's a big dog!

Many of us have high-efficiency gas furnaces. Supposedly, you can't run one of those on a plane jane generator. Does that thing say anything about how clean the power is? The inverter generators are supposed to take care of that. Maybe somebody who knows this stuff can comment. Thanks.
If you actually use this through the big shit down, follow up on how it did and what you powered with it.

I think the only reason for concern would be if the voltage spiked or got low, like if the gen ran out of gas. The loss of voltage gradually could potentially hurt a circuit panel in a furnace or computer or TV. There is no difference between this generator and a whole house NG generator. Those just don't run out of fuel.

@@QuickSpeedShop At first the voltage was labeled as “Dirty Power”. Another contention is the lack of a “proper” ground.

If you're really that worried about it get a UPS backup for sensitive electronics, but those only last as long as the battery does. The is nothing magical about a high efficiency furnace. I'd be more worried about computers and TVs, but those really should be on a surge protector anyway. If the generator is running well, there shouldn't be any problem.

Be cool if there was a conversion for those to switch to Natural Gas, but also smart thing would be to build a small coup, or a shed for it specifically outside the house near service entry and transfer switch it to main breaker. This way you can just leave it outside inside permanently. Hillbilly Generac. 😂 if i had cash i would. But people like me gonna be victim to looting and rioting if "shtf" 😂😢

Natural gas whole house generators are great...until they turn the natural gas off during an "emergency". I'll stick with a transportable fuel, like gasoline, that I can easily store on site if I have to.

You're supposed to run the generator for 30 minutes and then change the oil.
