Every forum and video discussing this says "turn this direction or that direction" and they all give different directions because of course it depends which direction you're facing. If you're facing the front of the car, turn the 50mm nut COUNTER CLOCKWISE. If you are facing the rear of the car, turn it clockwise.
@@F80__Los I just did this job. The threads are in the driveshaft and it is STANDARD thread, not reverse. There are no threads on the diff for this nut, this nut just pulls the driveshaft pinion gear deeper into the diff. But if you're under the car and looking while it's all attached you can't tell until it's removed.

could just say it’s reverse thread

Good job bro. It's a rescue to my car.😊😊😊
Thank you bro.
Did you order that wrench online and if so do you have a link?
do you have enough leverage to crack it loose doing it with floor jack stands?? i have to replace my pinion seal
Did you have to secure or lock the driveshaft in place to be able to turn the nut? Did you just rely on the transmission and parking paw to hold it?
anything special to do when installing it back ?
how did you block the transmission to unscrew it?
What about install?
What size of wrench are you using?
50
Hell no this didn’t help
