I was worried it was going to be a bit tacky when I first saw it, but it looks proper once it's fitted. Well done. Don't forget to clean the camera lens for the next one Simon, a bit misty this time.
An additional connector would be useful. About where the radar connection is. Would make stripdown easier if the front end is damaged and the rest of the wiring back to the fusebox wouldn’t have to be touched.
Well done Destiny! Learning the trade of plastic trim popping and trim tool expertise! An interesting idea to add presence…Mrs HQB is warming to the Defender idea so you never know…how about a Hardtop with that load carrying ability as we don’t need a rear seat as nobody ever sits on ours but would it lose value quickly?? Hmm….🤔🤔🤔😀😀😀😀😀😀
Hi Richard - the world is a strange place right now.... things are getting tight for some people and some businesses are closing and an estate agent contact of mine has 3 sales that are on hold as banks are not releasing funds....I love the Defender but with the world changing I would still think about the electric options... I have a feeling that Land Rover need to produce a small all electric Defender... big cars are a real problem for electric as the limit range etc. Land Rover has announced that they have 3 brands Range Rover Discovery Defender Think about it... Range Rover they have several models Range Rover / Range Rover Sport / Range Rover Velar / Range Rover Evoque Discovery they have Discovery 5 and Discovery Sport Defender they have the 90 110 and 130 but its very much only 1 model ? what about an EFender ? or Defender Sport ? Lots to think about !
Will you need to find a way to dim the LED for when headlights are on? Like the DRLs’ do, otherwise they will be too bright in the dark. Just a thought. It does look really good though!
Hey @simon just done this on mine. Great video, thanks alot. I'm also wondering if it would be possible to get it to come on with the DRL's so that we can see it when waking up the car with the remote?
Good question - having a light in this position is legal. The lamp is not E Marked so this may be an issue. Also i think it may be required to reduce its brightness at night depending on how bright it is - we are going to test this one evening
Destiny deserves her own series on the work she does!
So with an A frame on the fitting work takes on a whole new level

Not just me then!
"It's a bit rainy" isn't it always rainy in the UK? LOL!!!!

I love your enthusiasm.
That is a nice touch there, I like that, nice one Simon!
I actually like it more than i want to... of that makes sense !
Very good , I like light bars. Makes the vehicle abit more personal.
Yes this is a simple change that makes a big difference !
Hopefully back in stock soon to order 😊
I don't own a Land Rover but i want one of these light bars

Welp, looks like I'm ordering this!
it starts up like a LandRover lightsaber :D
Please design one for the L494!!
Is their a similar light bar available for the Discovery 4
I like it,👌🏼. looks like I’ll be ordering something else for my Defender, lol !
was everything ok wotht he grill cruise control wise etc
Can the same socket be used to attach two LED spotlights?
Another lovely job Simon⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👏👏👏👍👍👍👍
Great Video once again... Simon do you think that off road driving LEDS could be manufactured to fit within this area of a Defender? Cheers
Hi have you done a video of fitting drl lights to a new defender ?
Can you send me a link to the items you are thinking of fitting ? or do you mean adding DRL in the headlights
Not great with Tec
Can I ring you 👍
Please send number
Excellent. Great job Destiny!
Thank you!!
It is not a drl. It is an auxiliary light bar. I think drl'shave to have adippong facility once normal lights are engaged
Any chance for An Evoque version? (I know i know,i'm a dreamer...)
Does it dim with headlights?
Good job Destiny.
She is proving to be excellent in the workshop !
Does it dim when the high beams are on? I could not find an answer here for that. Thanks!
No it does not - ideally it should but not currently - however its more of a sidelight than a full DRL
Wondering if anyone dared to build it in their car driving in Switzerland 😅
please make one for the freelander 2
Wow too cool, how many lumens? Can it replace an off road light bar on the roof, or it’s just decorative
Its much like the signature lights in the headlamps - very much for styling only
Do you do theses lights for a Range Rover sport 2015 thanks mark
Sorry we do not !
hi sir would you do this for range rover evoque 2017 ? i have the rear led bar would will love have the front too ! @@L663
Can you do one for the d3?
The D3 grille is similar....
Boom Boom!! 💥 💥
He is back on top form !
Genuine question: bought a lot from powerful , but can’t figure out why this unit is almost £150 more than other sites, there different specs?
Not sure what product they are selling. It may be the same or different. We do try and be price competitive
what happens if the led starts to malfunction?
Good question - disconnect the fuse and investigate.
I like it, but is it legal?

❤️❤️🙏🙏
Why?
Its a good question.....but it looks cool ~
What comes to my mind is … why?
@@livinagoodlife design flair? I call it tacky .
Oh no too tacky kinda makes an expensive motor look cheap, not for me,
Its truely awful, just a pile of modern junk, utterly 'orrible
Fair point... I was not expecting everyone to like it...
