My LTR GF sometimes tries to pull that absurd mental gymnastics on me from time to time, telling me things like, 'Not everything has to be rational and logic-based,' when I corner her and call out her BS based solely on emotions. I still continue to be logical, thereby keeping my frame, and not only is she still with me, but she has also learned to respect my thought process based on facts and common sense. Had I fallen for the trap and become more emotional as she suggested, by throwing away logic in favor of emotions, she would have jumped ship long ago. Don't let them pull you into being more emotional than rational, guys...

Correct. I've watched quite a few of Rich's videos now. I never once thought he was "delivering" in a bad way. I have not always agreed with what he's said, that's a different issue.
I would say that you and rich are almost objectively wrong. Rich's delivery is spot on... for addressing men. His delivery is 180 degrees incorrect for addressing women, unless his goal is to try and change their behavior via triggering them. I like Rich's delivery but I'm a dude who wants to get straight to the point, use logic, take responsibility and find solutions. What women has existed ~ever~ that doesn't just make excuses, that doesn't avoid responsibility, that is logical and just wants a straightforward solution rather than a shoulder to cry on? The answer: No women ever. I completely understand these women's point of view. They don't care what rich is saying because he's saying it like a man. The way men, unencumbered, communicate with other men. Rich is either ignorant or being purposely obtuse and deciding to pretend he doesn't know what these women mean. I found this video difficult to watch because their point was obvious: They are emotion basketcases that need to be mollycoddled and treated like toddlers. Speaking matter of factly doesn't work with women. So... I don't know why Rich has women like this on his show. He knows he won't/can't communicate with them and they'll just get triggered. Why bother? Not sure what Rich's goal is here.

The energy of discussion was - i am right, you are not. Once you project that outside, that can trigger ppl especially if they have their own wounds of self-esteem, etc. Defensiveness kicks in cuz no1 wants to be perceived as inadequate. Just hammering down the point mentally wont help when women are emotional. To bridge the gap, one needs to be able to hold space for them in order to reech the deep wounding and go from there. If women are too mental, logical, then their masculine side is dominating the feminine. And then conversation is basically between 2 men (1 man vs another in female body). Feelings do matter in discussion too cuz they indicate source of resistance to points being made. And that is the key to resolution
Excellent job by Rich holding frame. It takes a lot of discipline to dodge all those verbal insults and passive aggressive behavior and stick to the topic / question. Most men (this is why experience & frame for men is so important) would get sidetracked by one of those insults and allow her to take the conversation in a different direction. This is absolutely 100% a conscious tactic women employ, women develop these verbal judo techniques their entire lives because they don’t have any physical capability of aggression - what the ladies did in this video *is* how women fight, and Rich just bobbed and weaved and held frame. Excellent work, takes a lot of practice, self reflection, and discipline to do that. I can express enough how complimentary tiara is to Rich….man has really done the work. 👍👍👍👍
Not that I agree with everything Rich says but the girls clearly have their defense mechanisms up on full power. They can’t hear what is being said because they would have to take accountability. Yes we all make mistakes but they actually aren’t taking ownership of their decisions, it’s more like “oh well things happen”. Until you take actual accountability and truly understand you made poor choices you will never make the necessary changes. Gillian- yes you spent your time doing those things and it’s impacting what you’re searching for. Rich wants you to figure out HOW you are going to change your decision making in order to achieve a different result.

Rich made a great point. When you have access to someone of a caliber of Rich Cooper, your best bet is to shut up and listen and process the information. You clearly are not getting the results that you want, but keep telling him he’s wrong. It’s like Michael Jordan mentors you in basketball, but you tell him he sucks. Stupid people never learn, they just want to hear themselves talk.
Same as Kevin Samuels. Rich just started doing this so there's not hours upon hours of proof. But women see Kevin's shows and still argue with him. I never understood how they never recognized the patterns almost immediately and at least took a different conversation approach. They never did.

That stood out to me too. Shouldn't you know by now? If you don't know, I surmise you are trying to know and why you are consulting with Rich. Yet, you dismiss him. He's trying to help, make you see the light but making an excuse as to why you shouldn't follow his advice. If someone is more concerned with how something is being said vs what is actually being said it just shows me that they want some sort of sympathy for their situation and not a solution.

That is why women will always be less intelligent than men. Intelligence is progressive accumulation of greater and greater knowledge; who can overlook unpleasantness for a bit of time will accumulate more knowledge. For example, a college graduate student doesn't require colorful textbooks to comprehend complex data. Words are quite enough. In fact, the very best students don't even require fully explained theses. Their intuition is so sharp even data hinted at are sniffed out, digested, analyzed, and reproduced to suit particular circumstances. Of all women, post-feminism women are the least intelligent, because they are very, very bad at self-preservation. These types have been indoctrinated to lock themselves in the mental prison of gendered paradigms. Most lead miserable lives of quiet desperation and severely harm any children unlucky enough to be in their care.

Personally I don't blame children of single moms. I could easily care for and protect any child. I can't trust the mothers. The children lose. I don't care who's the father. They are children. The mothers seem more focused on their own needs rather than the child.

I've had conversations with my kid about why things are hard at work, his first professional job, where I say that he isn't doing things his supervisor expects, with lots and lots of deflection. Getting him to understand that it's his choice to not do these things is what's holding him back is a tough nut to crack! My opinion is that Rich asked the women how they hold themselves accountable, that's all. They then spent 10 minutes deflecting the conversation to avoid answering that. Grown ups acting like 13 year olds isn't a good look for anyone.
Is there any way you could of possibly modeled that behavior? Or their other parent? Adults don't act that way unless they were around that behavior as children
She wants you to be an emotional tampon and not hold them accountable or shift the focus onto them rather than on the external thing they blame their problems on. I’ve experienced this in nearly every relationship. The moment you hold them accountable, they start lashing out, name calling, gaslighting and verbally abusing you. If it persists, they smear your name in the mud, call you abusive and a narcissist. I’ve tried the “nicer way”, listening intently, asking questions and being soft and gentle, but the moment I try to get them to take accountability, no matter how kindly I do it, no matter how many hours I’ve listened to their problems, they can not take ownership of anything. Moral of the story? You can either be an emotional tampon or you can hold them accountable, but you can’t do both because the result will be the same.

She got emotional when Rich points out the negative outcomes are a result of values, beliefs, and actions. In other words, the women on the panel disagreed with Rich about particular conclusions, but they are not making the connection that the contra opinions, beliefs, values, and therefore decisions That they are holding onto are the reason why they have had sub optimal outcomes in their lives. Instead of letting her drawn out about her feelings, and how she’s offended with his delivery at Cetera, I wish Rich would just have said the following: My message and tone Are not intended to denigrate you as a human being. If I didn’t think you had value, I wouldn’t be willing to spend my time to try and help you. What you weren’t seeing is that you are holding onto ideas and values which lead to bad decisions and those bad decisions are the things I’m reminding you of when you keep holding onto the bad values and ideas and decisions. I’m not pointing out your bad outcome to make you feel bad about yourself. I’m pointing them out so that you will make the connection that your bad outcome didn’t spring out of the air, it was the logical result of values and actions which do not serve the outcome you say you want. In other words, you say you want a particular outcome, but your actions and values and behaviors inevitably lead you down a different path. So until the values and beliefs and actions change, you will never reach the outcome that you want.

The basic problem here is not the way the message is delivered, it’s that some mistakes can be fixed but others cannot. No one can offer a solution to a 35 year old single career woman belatedly looking to settle down and have a family. No one can offer a solution to a tattooed single Mum with two kids by different men now looking for a good man. There is no solution on an individual level that has a high chance of working for them. One cannot change one’s past. If they radically changed their attitudes, which is very difficult, it will only improve their prospects of finding what they seek by a small amount. The only thing that is definitely of use to a such person is understanding and compassion. For others, these women have become examples of what not to do. The useful advice is not for them but for society and young women who have not yet created such intractable problems for themselves.

I am still not the man I want to be, but years back I had a man like Rich break me down and point out hard to swallow facts about why I was failing to live to my potential. Even if their denial unintentionally turns out to be a confirmation of the proposal, the woman will still insist that the proposal is incorrect and they are indeed a unicorn. They literally cannot stop themselves from behaving this way. They’re categorically unable to cede any ground at all. If she knew Rich for a long time she could use some other shaming thing from the past. The point is that it does not matter what she uses (and she will use anything she can) as long has she is able to make Rich emotional. This is something that women have evolved to utilize very efficiently. Most men don't understand how this works, and loose the argument that way. When modern women disagree with what you are saying and don't have any rational/logical arguments - they question "HOW" the information is being shared. I am currently dating a 18yo as a older gentleman. Ive done some very "manly" things in my life (semi pro rugby player, fought in 2 diff wars, volunteered for a foreign legion, and came to Christ and humbled self through him). There is literally nothing wrong in Rich's delivery. The speed, tonality, language use, seriousness or humor all seem appropriate in this medium.
Correct. I've watched quite a few of Rich's videos now. I never once thought he was "delivering" in a bad way. I have not always agreed with what he's said, that's a different issue.

I would say that you and rich are almost objectively wrong. Rich's delivery is spot on... for addressing men. His delivery is 180 degrees incorrect for addressing women, unless his goal is to try and change their behavior via triggering them. I like Rich's delivery but I'm a dude who wants to get straight to the point, use logic, take responsibility and find solutions. What women has existed ~ever~ that doesn't just make excuses, that doesn't avoid responsibility, that is logical and just wants a straightforward solution rather than a shoulder to cry on? The answer: No women ever. I completely understand these women's point of view. They don't care what rich is saying because he's saying it like a man. The way men, unencumbered, communicate with other men. Rich is either ignorant or being purposely obtuse and deciding to pretend he doesn't know what these women mean. I found this video difficult to watch because their point was obvious: They are emotion basketcases that need to be mollycoddled and treated like toddlers. Speaking matter of factly doesn't work with women. So... I don't know why Rich has women like this on his show. He knows he won't/can't communicate with them and they'll just get triggered. Why bother? Not sure what Rich's goal is here.

Excellent job by Rich holding frame. It takes a lot of discipline to dodge all those verbal insults and passive aggressive behavior and stick to the topic / question. I've had conversations with my kid about why things are hard at work, his first professional job, where I say that he isn't doing things his supervisor expects, with lots and lots of deflection. Getting him to understand that it's his choice to not do these things is what's holding him back is a tough nut to crack! My opinion is that Rich asked the women how they hold themselves accountable, that's all. They then spent 10 minutes deflecting the conversation to avoid answering that. Grown ups acting like 13 year olds isn't a good look for anyone.

The basic problem here is not the way the message is delivered, it’s that some mistakes can be fixed but others cannot. No one can offer a solution to a 35 year old single career woman belatedly looking to settle down and have a family. No one can offer a solution to a tattooed single Mum with two kids by different men now looking for a good man. There is no solution on an individual level that has a high chance of working for them. One cannot change one’s past. If they radically changed their attitudes, which is very difficult, it will only improve their prospects of finding what they seek by a small amount. The only thing that is definitely of use to a such person is understanding and compassion.
For others, these women have become examples of what not to do. The useful advice is not for them but for society and young women who have not yet created such intractable problems for themselves.

I am still not the man I want to be, but years back I had a man like Rich break me down and point out hard to swallow facts about why I was failing to live to my potential.
