Nice smooth landing. That Delta flight that presumably arrived just before your own seemed pretty close on the parallel runway as it crossed your path. It almost looked like the two aircraft would almost collide.
It is Air France, speaking French myself, I understand what they are saying. Usually on flights they speak the national language of the country they are flying to and from, and sometimes English because it is widely known and I believe it is one of the languages pilots must know on international flights for communication reasons.
@cbosum I am really surprised!! How come Air France have a logo so similar to Iran Air logo which is been used by Iran Air since it launched it company decades ago??!! In the end, YOU ARE RIGHT and thank you for the information..
@pridefalcon As the aircraft had an Air France painting, as crew spoke French, as the plane started from Charles de Gaulle and as I actually booked an Air Fance flight and was aboard I'm relatively sure it was Air France ;)
@pridefalcon Though it looks very similar to the Iran Air logo, it is the Air France logo. Just do a quick Google search for "Air France logo" and you'll find that horse with wings.
@cbosum Look at 0.24 and 2.13. After searching google for Iranair, I am sure that the logo appeared on the engins on this clip belongs to Iranair.. You also can type images for Iranair logo on Google and see for yourself what I am talking about. I am not saying It is not Air France, what I am saying Is that the logo on the engins belong to Iranair and I dont know why should airfrance use them on thier planes.. Regards.
@pridefalcon and all other stupid guys talking about iranian planes. I can 100% certify that this is AF 378 flight from CDG to DTW, being French myself. Why would @cbosum lie by the way ? The logo is the original AF logo, and it dates back to ... 1937 ! As a matter of fact, Iranair logo is somewhat similar, but it's different.
Awesome smooth landing, & the manoeuvre is so amazing.Great filming.
Beautiful Landing. I never knew A340's ever came to DTW. Anyway. Great Footage!
Nice smooth landing.

Awesome video!! Is Air France still flying twice daily to Detroit or did they already go to the once daily winter schedule?

I subscribed! Was it a full flight?

Guys, I'm really amazed by the discussion about this... It was Air France. I was on that plane when I filmed it.... :D
@pridefalcon i always spot at detroit metro and iran air is banned from flying to DTW. just read about it.
