One thing Chris Barnes does very well is sportsmanship. It started here and never stopped. Now EJ’s following in his footsteps Man it hit my heart to watch Brian Himmler thank Bill Crispin… RIP Bill… I love watching these old telecasts!
I have not met him. He absolutely cares about the sport and I very much appreciate his dedication and knowledge. He might have the greatest mind for bowling of any top player ever and I respect that very much as someone who has always tried my best to learn all I can about equipment and all aspects of the sport.
Barnes has never struck me as being great at sportsmanship. He kind of just does the bare minimum like WRW. Unlike Walter, Barnes can be a hothead. He has broken equipment in a bowling center I used to work at.
@@theBatmanGoeth2 I have heard this from other sources. I’m gonna guess that in his 50s he’s slowed that down. And like WRW, he’s embraced that 2 hands are the future of the sport so that’s why one of his sons was encouraged to do it. Ryan is going to remind a lot of people of what Chris was like on tour in his younger years. I’ve heard other non-flattering things about Chris Barnes but because I’ve met him personally on a few occasions I don’t hold that against him.
Brian Himmler had a fantastic performance. Also, this was the 1st televised Appearance of Chris Barnes in the Stepladder Finals of the Albuquerque Open.
@@enigmazero8624 oh I won’t try… 😁 you wouldn’t be the only one for sure. I’ve had him coach me in clinics before and he seemed to recognize my name in the Beef/Barnzy show. Not a whole lot to go on but posted a pic of him and his buddy Bob Goike Sr from Michigan. So I’ve had a chance to interact…

Barnes is definitely not someone that comes to mind when thinking about sportsmanship for me.
@@enigmazero8624 he does give it to ya in the heat of the moment. But he also seems to care about the sport. We might disagree. Have you met him?

Incredible top 24.

Storm sky bolt. Best ball ever !
They should have adjusted the tracking on that VCR
EnigmaZero, It looks like you are planning to upload the Don Carter Classic.
I’m sure you’ll spoil all the results for that one too.
@EnigmaZero Planning to work on don carter classic and columbia 300 open today and tonight?
@11:00 why did Marshall Holman straight up call Tommy “pathetic” on TV? ☠️ tf was bro talking about
He said "prophetic"...
He's talking about your ears.
Barnes got a lot better after this
Don’t kid yourself he was a world class player for ten years before this show.
“Wrong ball choice”. In the 7th frame…a bit late Barnzey
Maybe the worst bowling match I ever saw Chris Barnes in.
The first of many poor tv performances by him
Well, first as a pro anyway
@@enigmazero8624true but you can add the SpongeBob slide “One Hall of Fame Career Later…”
@@atbsigma valid. He’s undoubtedly one of the best players ever, but I never liked him and you can’t make me.

What a horror show, all that phuckin' noise and 3 guys I wouldn't know if they fell on me
I'm outta here
Yeah the hard to see gold pins, the constant duh clapping..who thought this was a good idea?
The pba was trying something different to boot ratings.
The worst era of bowling with those pins and all of that constant cheering.
ESPN did their best to ruin bowling.
You said it. Good lord
