Being from New Jersey USA . I never listened to these guys. U2 , Furs , Police , Costello ect were my bands. At 59 with 9,000 songs on my I Pod I found The Bunnymen. I can't believe how good they are. Downloaded 50 songs. L9ve the band.
The subtitles are hilarious.Worth watching for that alone.Always very expansive answers; thanks Mac.Lou Reed's Aussie interview reminds me of a Keith Richards quote.'Everything in moderation; except; sex; drugs and rock'n'roll!.Merci Mac.
@@ianmccullochofficial9675 Is that really you Mac? Up for a chat anytime.Met you after your traditional Christmas gig in 2006 in the 'Pool at the O2 Arena. Was chuffed you said hi.Cheers
Mac you are a f-ing legend.. I've met you a handful of times here in Southern California.. you shaped so many lives. You and the Bunnymen. I wish you wouldn't have smoked so many cigs. And we all know you like your pints... Be good to yourself mate.. time comes for us all, and we need you to stick around awhile more
It's so odd to see him. Like the 80s was such a long time ago and he honestly doesn't really look super old. "RUclips has done it 40 years", "An aunt taught me the next question" Personally, I find it sad that he tries to kill the ant. Like dude, ants are harmless... If he sang on that 2018 version, it's honestly not bad. Still has a great voice to sing. But of course he's old so I hope he's making music just for the love of it. Can never understand their dialect sometimes. Sounds like mumbling sometimes and we're just supposed to understand what he's saying. And the thing is, his songs sound very american.

Seeing them this summer for my 4th time. Been a fan since the mid 80s
Bunnymen are on another level. Bono wishes he was Ian Mcculloch.
Hard to believe he's 63 next birthday. WHERE did all that time go????
I was totally fascinated with your music as a teenager. I'd never heard anything like it before. Still amazed by it.
Happy to hear Ian loves the Fall 😊
I love this guy similar to Richard Butler these Brits self deprecating and full of humour
Oh man, I fucking love Mac.

I love the contrast between Ian and Will. I wonder if that's why it works so well?
Legendary
I wish the subtitles had been in English
McCullough the environmentalist, sees ant so stands on it.

U2 have done it over 40 years.
He should be despising Coldplay.
He was dead relaxed and funny, no pretence. I like McCulloch he’s talented and a great band to watch live.
