You guys are incredible! I had no idea such places existed. Wow, you’re amazing explorers! Thank you so much for sharing your incredible journey with us. ❤
Thanks guys, love watching your vid’s . Having being born in SL but now overseas in OZ, I. Travelled through Hutton as a young kid In 1966 and the area looks exactly like it did then ! Time has stood still in the hills . May God bless SL now an Island at peace. 😊😊😊🎉🎉🎉
Thank you both for promoting this beautiful country. Love watching your content and would love to meet you guys if you are still in SL. Keep up the good work! ❤
Luke wondering when that church was built with the sign saying 1878 right in front of him reminded me thompson and thomson in the tintin book, prisoners of the son. All that palm toddy and arrack moments made me feel tipsy. One could watch the rain from that guest house without knowing the time passing away. There is so much in srilanka for every type of traveler. It is indeed a traveler 's paradise. Great to see Naomi seeing the funny side of many things and its always interesting to listen to the orator Luke. Thanks to the two happy, intellectual explorers for bringing out the unseen beauty of srilanka.
Another strong video with loads of stuff. Hatton used to be a quaint town in the 1960's when we visited there. A more business hub than a village .Now,it looks neglected but I love seeing it
Good exploration guys.. and lovely guest house.. thanks for sharing. Have an awesome time in beautiful Sri Lanka. We are planning to move there for good..🎉 who knows next when you visit we might be able to meet for a coffee 🎉
Probably those graves were of soldiers who fought in the first WW, they could be Ceylonese or English, some do have prominent English, Scottish names among Ceylonese as well especially Howards, Edwards, Reids etc😊
The issue is tourism is not promoted to hatton and norwood and bogawantalawa but actualy nice places to visit there . These places are not considered as tourist attractions but they are actualy nice to explore no body even srilankans does not recognise these areas as tourist attractions
You might not be aware, there are lots of fatel road accidents happen in Sri Lanka daily, mostly due to ignorance. You should extra careful when you drive in SL. Always welcome to the country and enjoy vacation ❤
no it's not normal to have this many liquor stores in low income areas. it was just our politicians way of solving matters of poor people. but it's all going to change because of the new president and his government.
Also the income will straight go into the plantation because most owners of the stores are plantation, they will keep them addicted and dependent on the plantation and then their children will also continue like that

If it's not for liquor stores these areas will be full of illicit liqueur manufacturers and sellers . People who live in this tea estate area know most labourers men and women consume liqueur. Also cooler climatic conditions add to more consumption of alcohol. Don't worry not a single liquor store is going to be closed down by any government. Because the government collects most revenue from liqueur sales. Don't live in a fools paradise believing with election speeches. 😂😂😂😂 Soon they will open more by giving licence to their party supporters. Guaranteed 😂😂😂
Your videos are so pure. Always smiling with the locals, interacting with them. Pleasure to watch and hope you enjoy Sri Lanka!
