I don't listen to jehtro tull very often but when I do the whole neighborhood appreciates it
Yep I'm giving Sherman Texas a dose right now good morning to you
I do listen to Tull very often, did so as well when I still lived with my parents, and my mother often told me to turn the volume down because of the neighbours. - One day I ran into the lady from next door, and she told me she would always appreciate it when my window is open while listening to this interesting music.
The real deal
Martin Barre...most underrated rock guitarist of all time
True, it is a great
Said that years ago already: Since everyone says he's underrated (which means rating him high), he is not underrated. So perhaps people should go for "most properly rated guitarist of all time" by now.
After seeing comments like this one under dozens and dozens of videos showcasing musicians from the 60s and 70s, I've come to he conclusion that saying a musician is underrated is only intended to generate thumbs up. It is certainly not accurate. None of the "underrated" musicians were underrated. They were all popular and successful.
@@NuntiusLegis The most underrated is someone who is great but we don't know about him... 😅 Martin Barre is on millions of sold records
Martin Barre, Robert Fripp, David Gilmour, Steve Hackett, Mike Oldfield
I love Jethro Tull as much in 24 as I did in 74. When I was 11.
This is really important music to many of us.
Cheers!
Big Tull fan. Ian Anderson, Martin Barre were better than Keith & Mick. My opinion. Saw them in 1978 at Madison Square Garden. It was the Songs from the Wood tour. Ian after doing the title at the end were symbols crash. He came out and crash these giant symbols 😂 🎸😎
This early Jethro Tull, kind of jazzy, is my favorite JT era along with early 70's masterpieces.
Not a big fan of Jazz or Saxophone, but when Ian Anderson uses Sax on A Passion Play and Warchild it sounds Heavenly!
Ok, now that is the coolest sports jacket ever!!! Another great song preformed by the LEGENDARY Jethro Tull!
Ian Anderson is brilliant. Jethro Tull have always been my fave band from being a teenager.
Always loved their first album, especially this song which lead off the record. Blues are where they started. Everyone got to start somewhere.
I learned to like the material from the first album through later, more polished live versions like this, the studio recordings sound a bit dated to me, with the exception of Cat's Squirrel. Mick Abrahams also recorded a nice live version of the album with his band.
Strangely, of the early studio recordings, the stuff released on singles appeals more to me, like One For John Gee, Love Story, or A Christmas Song.
@@NuntiusLegis The production was muddy, I'll give you that. But I got an emotional connection to this album for a friend who introduced me to it, and is no longer with us.
In July of the same year I saw them in Trento, Italy: amazing!
C'ero anch'io.
I am 55 years old and can say the same!
Listen to his 70s music. It's awesome
❤
The original versión is the Best,,,, pero Buenos Músicos Siempre Jethro Tull es mi Banda del Alma ❤❤❤❤☕🎸✨✨✨✨💋
Marvelous! Everyone sounds great, and such a delightfully clear and balanced recording. Cheers!
The "Big Band" sound of Jethro Tull. Love it!! Love the arrangement Ian.
I haven't seen much early 90s Tull. Only Ian could pull off that jacket 😂 His voice sounds great here too. Although it's not what it was, it fits the song nicely.
Big Bises , toujours q ue du bon heure ....
SIMPLESMENTE ÉPICO
Great 😮🎉😮🎉😮
I seen the original Jethro Tull Band at The Allen Theater in 1970 and they were Fantastic - Lee Michaels opened for them and he was good too - But Tull kicked ass !!!!!
Saw them live in Hollywood just a few years back…..walked out it was so bad
What was bad about it
I had no idea that Ian Anderson played Jazz. But I am not surprised that he kills it. Still amazing.
One of my fav Tull track...
This Was - a great track on that album.
Original first album of Jethro Tull "This Was" many don't now in my vinyl collection.
Saw him last winter in Boston....just phenomenal
What a shame that Martin and Ian are no longer working together 😢
I still miss Dave Pegg as part of Tull.
With Martin on the stage they were embodiment of "old gang"playing together.💖🤘
Brilliant and handsome 😍
I’m standing on one leg
Che grinta!!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤
SEMPRE e per SEMPRE GRANDI.💞💕❤️💓
👍💪
Grande Martin lancelot Barre
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Still with the A Little Light Music jacket
❤
👍🏻
Oops someone in the audience didn't know the walking bass outro.😅
Ian Anderson doing his Joe Cocker impersonation
Where did Ian get his jacket from?
Jackets Are Us
Getting there, for now: RUclips, ‘Tom Petty was a Christian …. (+ more pts.), David Carswell Channel.
David C. Was a radio broadcaster USA, primarily a top radio channel - Philly. In past times, has shown his interviews, photos with various bands, etc., w known in the radio sector, believe, primarily, rock music genre.
✅ Progress, didn’t forget to state our timelines and physical books, v important, t send; future, soon. Ty

Ian Anderson do you need some assistance I can help❤
i Do From time To time Dig (Tull) More So On Studio Recordings , Probably More So Live" iDig Their (Mono/Stereo) Better Than (Straight Stereo) Recordings, Like Most Bands, Even at Times my own music/songs Recordings, but it Can Vary , Depending on a s Certain instrument sound or vocal clarity. (Tull's) Front man's Vocals Are Kinda (soft) Compared To The (instruments) in Such Live" Recordings, bUt (They're StiLL GooD*) Snoopy B@x+3r , iv Had People Tell me my vocals are (softer) than my (instruments), but to me, their a Good Balance, bUt we tend to Perceive our Songs Differently Than Others* iAlso know listening to music at a lower volume you can most likely pick up on various things you might not can played LOUD"!! 😊 Maybe (Tull's) Vocal mic Needs To Be A few (db)s Higher or The instruments AMPS a few (db)s lower(?)

His voice sounds funny
His voice has always sounded like this just a tad gruffier with age! Still love him!❤🎉
Heavy smoking has left him with a lung deficiency so he can no longer fill his lungs when he sings. I saw him at one of his Christmas shows a couple of years ago and he was unable to hit certain notes. Still a brilliant show though!
@@Mazalinda oh dang
He has copd.
More than the quality of his voice, it's his timing that's all over the place. I've long wondered if he has some hearing issues.
❤
