Lower pressures for qualifying, as they give more heat, softening the rubber more, giving you a faster lap, and higher pressures for races so the tyres won't overheat. I'd say have a 1.5-2psi difference from qualy to race. It makes a massive difference.
And of course, with weight distribution, it will put varying degrees of response/lack of steer into whichever end you have it on. I'd go with a more forward balance for races to try to minimalise understeer, but not so much that you're completely weighing the front down and therefore increasing tyre wear. -Thomas
Personally I go for a less aggressive camber angle, you're running more a of a cornering set up on your camber, which will reduce the cars straight line stability. *Ways that moving the camber one/two clicks right WILL help.* -The car will accelerate off the line in a more linear manner, having more of the tires surface area in contact with the ground. (Better starts as well) -Will help tire wear as you said, because of the reason above. -Braking can be improved, because the tire when rolling straight gets more surface area to the floor than it would with a lower camber (lower meaning more into the negative) -Corners that aren't as dependent on the car being close to or on full lock can in some cases generate more speed on exit. *Ways moving the camber one/two clicks right WONT help* -Less high speed cornering stability, when close or on the steering lock. -Can make the care less predictable when correcting through cornering. Also I'd have a play with your differential settings as well, I've not personally played this game yet but the diff works in two ways. Acceleration and deceleration, I could fill a section about how it works but here's the basics. A lower setting will give more cornering speed, at the cost of stability, balance them till they are perfect and they can bring a great deal of time, in some games I've seen over a second in improvement. *As for toe angles that's more preference than anything, it can help a lot but really is dependent on driving styles*
I agree with what you had to say about the handling. I think it definitely has to do with F1 2015 physics being made specifically for F1 cars. Whereas games like Forza or GT have to incorporate all sorts of cars. While F1 physics aren't necessarily realistic there is a lot of depth to making it feel like you're driving an F1 car while still being fun.
Hahaha Ben, this was one fantastic video! I could hear from your voice you were having lots of fun and exciting moments! great job mate, keep it up pls :3
About the start, try to keep the RPM at maximum without going into the red zone, when the fifth light switches on down to the floor for the best start ever seen
I think putting the toe of the tyres more to the left will increase straight line acceleration, make you quicker vs the AI. Glad to hear you getting better as well :)
Less toe and less negative camber increases speed and increases straight grip but decreases tyrewear, more negative camber gives more corner grip but increases tyre wear
+Edgar Wagt i actually tested if this was really the case but changing the camber and toe doesnt make a difference whatsoever, and neither does tyrepresure. Over a stint of 10laps changing nothing but those things around, i got 31% or 32% every single time.
Go 2-2 wings and 6/7 ballast, and maybe some more rear anti roll bar too and slightly less front. Aldo experiment with tyre pressures as muc has possible in practice, I would personally take the fronts to 17.6
Camber to the right makes acceleration better/low speed grip better. Always use it when i play with keyboard (without tractioncontroll) to minimise wheel spin. Got 5 tenth better time instantly at monaco when i changed the camber. At Spa and Monza I always use 2-2 or 3-3 on suspension.
Great race. Did better than i expected based off straight line speed. If you get a top 5 in Monza i think that'll be a good result. Just got to make sure Nico is not in front of you
I don't really know what the settings and the tyre model are worth in f1 2015 but go easy on the camber on the rear wheels. More camber means more grip in corners, but also a lot less traction. Too much camber in the rear and you can't shoot out of corners as fast as you'd like, and it can even make the car unstable on power on. Camber also affects braking distances, and that's for all 4 wheels. Same goes for toe. Important in the front, most of the time ideally close to zero at the rear. Toe mostly affects turn-in, at the expense of lower top speed and traction; higher tyre wear and temperatures.
adjust the tire pressure only if you experience over or under inflation normally the default should be a pretty safe bet(its a lot easyer for the game to guess than the real teams). for f1 tires their is a very narrow sweet spot.
+Tiametmarduk have you thought about moving sprint mode championship to another game like Project Cars? I mean the series is super fun and ofc f1 multiplayer is unplayable right now
You need to run with both the aerodynamics at 1/1 wings for more straight line speed and it will help you to be a challenger to Ferrari,Williams,Red Bull, and Mercedes.
After this season, can you play on pc and add mods to it? It would be interesting to see what mods can spice up the season. I dont know if there are mods on pc on this game but if there are then please do so
+Tiametmarduk Without Mods the game is getting boring... Arrava is on season 3 or something and it is still the same things. I like the videos but the mods really make it better for me :)
Less front wing, I'd go with 1:1 or 2:1, turn the diff on throttle way down to 50-60% and off throttle up about 10% more or so. Rear anti-roll bar is too high too. Weight distribution should definitely be a lot further back for Spa, like 8 or 9.
I've always gone for as much speed as possible in Qualifying. In Race trim, I go for a slight oversteer car to a point that I can control it, but it varies on driving style. I'm known as JMM-JDM in World Online Racing & I race in stock cars aka Nascar Racing 3.
I think you should increase downforce, particularly at the rear. You're probably losing time and tyres having to correct the car on the exit. Maybe 4-2 or 4-3 wings?
I would aim for having the front of the car being slightly more responsive than the rear, having the ride height lower at the front than the rear would help slightly...
Maybe it feels so much better than Forza because these are F1 cars compared to the Road/Not-As-Fast-Racecars? It does feel so different it's really strange.. Btw what's the song right at the end in the montage-y thing? Great vid!
You could try out Aarava´s Setups :D I always use them and they work pretty well ^^ I love him for that video he made about his Setups. Btw nice video Ben
does playstation have more engine dynamics or something? Im on xbox and no matter how i drive, my engine is always green, also ive never seen an engine failure. ive done 3 seasons
Yes he does. It's the best choice for this game from my point of view. He uses the Thrustmaster TX. It would be nice if you woulf check out my channel I drive against legend ai and without assists as well :)
Agreed. It makes for some amazing battles in career. If they could combine the depth of 2013 with the AI of 2015, I'd be a happy guy. No safety cars, no no.1 or no.2 driver status to battle for in season. No contract offers, not even a way to check your previous race results i.e how many wins you have. So disappointing, yet I still find myself playing this game constantly as the racing is far superior to any other game. I literally cannot tell the difference between forza 6 and forza 5. Project cars is just straight retarded. Please code masters just keep the handling model EXACTLY how it is, you have an entire year to be working on the depth of the game. This game has so much potential
Although the handling model has changed, braking zones and apexes are the same. Out-in-out cornering generally works but practice helps you find the lines you're most comfortable/fond with
-Not the best, but not the greatest either
Ben 2015
+Radko Gudas Hahah I was like waaat?
+Radko Gudas Sounded like a Murrayism.
When did he said that ?
+Димитър Витанов Coming over the line last lap lol?
+Radko Gudas Was just about to comment on that haha

This livecom is so good compared to some of your other vids! I really liked the editing in this one, top notch!
The rate you fire these videos out in phenomenal, always entertaining af to watch, nice one man! :)

Such great racing this episode, love the Hamilton slow-mo shots

The chicane after the Kemmel Straight is Les Combes
8:02 - you said it!
Great race Ben!
Ben.... I'm still waiting for the F1 2013 S4 career montage video.... and F1 2014 S2, and F1 2014 S3, AND F1 2015 S1
Great race. Did better than i expected based off straight line speed. If you get a top 5 in Monza i think that'll be a good result. Just got to make sure Nico is not in front of you

Finallly! New episodeeee! :D
+Tiametmarduk have you thought about moving sprint mode championship to another game like Project Cars? I mean the series is super fun and ofc f1 multiplayer is unplayable right now
Anyone else notice that McLaren have 17 points???
Genuinely preferring this championship to the real one at the moment!! So much competition from the AI!!
Finally your voice is back. Welcome Ben. 😂
Your reaction when you saw yourself in P7 LOL!!!
Best race of the season!
Great Race!!! Great Defense with Raikkonen
You need to run with both the aerodynamics at 1/1 wings for more straight line speed and it will help you to be a challenger to Ferrari,Williams,Red Bull, and Mercedes.
front suspension set to 3 ,and the rest are fine ben
After this season, can you play on pc and add mods to it? It would be interesting to see what mods can spice up the season. I dont know if there are mods on pc on this game but if there are then please do so
+Anton yeahhhhhh mods aren't possible with this game..
+Tiametmarduk oh alright, would've been nice to see it though :) get well m8
+Tiametmarduk Without Mods the game is getting boring... Arrava is on season 3 or something and it is still the same things. I like the videos but the mods really make it better for me :)
+DalekPro101 You Can't Mod F1 2015 Maybe in F1 2016???
+Tiametmarduk Man, try with the mod Formula Renault 3.5 to Assetto Corsa, is amazing !!! You'll never play Codemasters garbage again. :D
Less front wing, I'd go with 1:1 or 2:1, turn the diff on throttle way down to 50-60% and off throttle up about 10% more or so. Rear anti-roll bar is too high too. Weight distribution should definitely be a lot further back for Spa, like 8 or 9.
I stopped playing f1 2015 started playing f1 2010 again
+F*CK KONAMI oh wow hahaha
+F*CK KONAMI hahahaha me2, maybe you joking but i am really back on f1 2014 ;p
Lol
+Coty Lott f1 2010 is still the best in the series.
+Coty Lott then you have no clue.. sorry! :-)
I'm starting a new Career Mode in F1, what driver should i get?
I've always gone for as much speed as possible in Qualifying. In Race trim, I go for a slight oversteer car to a point that I can control it, but it varies on driving style. I'm known as JMM-JDM in World Online Racing & I race in stock cars aka Nascar Racing 3.
nice defensive driving at the end haha
Fantastic race!
Hey nice video man! Can you play Gran Turismo 6?
I dont click the like button a lot on YT, but when YOU ask me to drop a like to see another episode.. Im smacking that like button man!
I think you should increase downforce, particularly at the rear. You're probably losing time and tyres having to correct the car on the exit. Maybe 4-2 or 4-3 wings?
0 DISLIKES!!!!!!!!!! BEN HOW COULD(NT) YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would aim for having the front of the car being slightly more responsive than the rear, having the ride height lower at the front than the rear would help slightly...
"back In liiiineeee maggot" :')
What is the music of the end of the video please ?
7:20 that was exactly what Max did in real life!
Great Video
Again
Great Race!
you should lower the tire pressure if ur tires get to hot
What is the music on 21:45?
+Adrian Ferrari Rob Gasser - I'm here
MacT4vish thanks!
I run 2-1 wings on Spa. Might save a little time on some tracks
20:06 you beat Raikkonen by nearly 43 mins..... That'll do me
Maybe it feels so much better than Forza because these are F1 cars compared to the Road/Not-As-Fast-Racecars? It does feel so different it's really strange.. Btw what's the song right at the end in the montage-y thing? Great vid!
UNDER 999 CLUB.... LETS START THIS NOW!!!
You could try out Aarava´s Setups :D I always use them and they work pretty well ^^ I love him for that video he made about his Setups. Btw nice video Ben
why you are still using short qualy ben?its feature full qualy now after patch on pc
If you start the season pre-patch then you can't change it. At least this is the case on Xbox one
+Alex Wood so this is now possible on xbox one?
+ste morrell I'm not sure but i know when the first patch came out you couldn't change anything until you restarted the season
What a Race!
Hey mate please check out my Bahrain career video or at least the first five laps of the race please :) that was pretty crazy as well :D
i thought you were going to turn off the manager thingy?
Good race!
does playstation have more engine dynamics or something?
Im on xbox and no matter how i drive, my engine is always green, also ive never seen an engine failure. ive done 3 seasons
add 1 rear wing and -1 front
When will you do a 100% race in career mode?
Missed ur career mode. :(
great vid
turn them down for better race tyre wear as it reduces tyre temps. increase off throttle differential for better turn in
and ballast to 7
Almost did what verstappen did on Nasr around the outside of blonchemont
Are you gonna play the pro season mode??
Does your setup work for all the tracks??? Because for Montréal it's pretty much perfect
You didn't DRS at 15:40 :o
I like your new voice :^)
Hey Ben, whats the song you use for the end video?
Does Tiametmard use a wheel? If so which wheel is it?
Yes he does. It's the best choice for this game from my point of view. He uses the Thrustmaster TX. It would be nice if you woulf check out my channel I drive against legend ai and without assists as well :)
Will you play Project Cars??
No 60 fps? :(
Front row Williams OMG
whats with the frame rates dropping during the replay? next gen? looks to need some optimizing. is this the xbox1 version?
do the Ai lift off in au rouge?
Sounding a bit ill there Ben
was spielst du für eine schwierigkeit??
outro song plz??
Next part tomorrow :)
we should name the no named corner Bianchi
This AI in this game are soo sick

I agree, and I'd combine that with the "live the life" aspect of F1 2010.
Will you be going to PS4 and doing Gran Turismo videos or will you always be with X-Box?
+Featured Dolans Ahahahaha! Gran Turismo he say's... lol
Lol, grand turismo, good joke
Does this game work online? Because if it does, I need friends to play it with :(
if you are on Xbox one send me a message DizzyCupid519
Brendon leigh I don't have xbox one yet :( I have 360 though and should be getting a ONE soon
Higher wings give better tyre wear.
whoooohoooooh f1 2015
home grand prix for Max 🎊
today is my birthday Ben happy 15
How do you drive without a driving line!?
You use a controller
+john simon Shut up, You know what I meant it is really hard to race without knowing when to stop unless you are really good
+Boss :D ye sorry probably cuz he's been playing for a while 😏😏
Although the handling model has changed, braking zones and apexes are the same. Out-in-out cornering generally works but practice helps you find the lines you're most comfortable/fond with
Fabian Leiva I see, Thank you
The game is only load in TT and it will not load in race. GG Codemasters
do a 2011 career After this season pls
ben are you going to the Melbourne gp next year? if so lets smoke some weed and watch f1
