- So many cool things coming. After looking at the artifact, I wanted to take a closer look at 5 weapons/archetypes that will do very well next season. Of course, we will have some new things, but these look like some of th best to use going in and building around

Thank you for watching! What are you excited for?
This is probably the least excited for an update I have ever been for this game, and will not be playing most of next season. I have never been disappointed in the bungie team like this before.
Young Ahamkara Spine is back!
@@anthonymanzo7867why are you disappointed?
Huckleberry. I've never cared to use it before, but Kinetic Tremors might just make it amazing.
Is anarchy back on the menu ?
I finally got to face this living legend himself in the crucible last night. Dude is no joke out there folks. Coolguy it was an honor and a privilege to meet in the crucible.
Yeah well I sniped him in the face & I felt bad because I love the man. Cool Guy, you're not just a RUclipsr covering a game. You are an exemplary human being

Just a minor correction, slow is anti overloard, so wicked implement can do all 3 champs.
Yep will be probably the gm weapon this episode
It won’t work with anti barrier scout idk why people keep spreading this bullshit. Wicked implement does not work with any anti champion artifact mods
@@SavvyMon4 I think they fixed the interaction between exotics that already deal with a type of champion and the artifact.
@@jordan-psy people keep thinking that just because it doesn’t say strong against overload/unstoppable champions that its able to be used w other champion mod effects and it’s just not true
@@SavvyMon4 well, we'll see next week
Hoarding bad exotics with great stat rolls finally paid off. Mask of the Quiet One, Raiju, Icefall, Dire Ahamkara and many more.
Hahahaha yes. Like keeping that random screw in the garage that finally comes in handy years later.
I have 1 of every exotic armor, fully masterworked, in my vault.
They get rotated out when I get a better roll.
My vault is almost full. 😢
@@michaelferrarini1463 That one odd shaped piece of 2x4 finally has a use!
Same, but also aren’t exotics being affected by armor 4.0 next week? Who knows what that’s gonna do to current god rolled exotics
I’m going to guess those are going to be useless when the new armor stats are released. They already said the sandbox was stale and wanted to give us a reason to grind armor
0:54 Not just that, the shards can also overflow the magazine.
edit: Huckleberry already gets a full reload on kill with the catalyst. The change coming moves that to the base weapon and replaces it with Kinetic Tremors.
Huckleberry only partially refills the magazine currently. Next week, it'll completely refill.
@@patrickoakley7890 The exotic perk only partially refills on kill, but the catalyst upgrades that to a full refill (as I said).
The full refill is being switch to the base version and the catalyst will get KT in its place.
@@Welverin you are correct, sorry.
Think we’re sleeping on arc this episode too. Coldheart creates ionic traces while doing damage. The artifact has a 2 perks that enhance this. Trace evidence which says rapid arc precision hits on targets affected by blind or jolt will generate ionic traces. The second perk is retinal burn which says rapid arc precision hits consume an armor charge to blind the target. Pair all that with geomags which gives you bonus super energy when collecting ionic traces for high super time, arc surge, radiant light for your teammates when casting your super, and time dilation. Extremely high super up time and good damage. Gonna try this out asap!
I remember during season of the Witch that a build like that was popular and you could easily reach some 30 seconds to super fun stuff.
Kinetic Impact and Anarchy could be wild.
Also Polaris Lance again with the ability to stun Barrier and Unstop with the Explosion.
I oh so hope Anarchy tics proc Kinetic Impact. Return of the king!
Wicked Implement is pretty much my default primary whenever I'm running a stasis build outside of PvP. To hear that it's about to get even better is music to my ears.
How can I get this exotic if I didn't in the past?
@@jhoagie1367try the kiosk at the tower in between the vaults
I just know this video is going to be pretty cool, guy.
I like how Something New with Enhanced Demo/Wellspring gets half a second of screentime. That thing has rarely left my primary slot since I got it, now it's time to shine.
Felwinter paired with a stasis subclass is going to be really nice. Special finisher for utility, devour from the artifact and other finisher specific artifact mods would allow for some really good synergy.
I used Felwinter almost all of season 23... and Osmiomancy Gloves because I was playing through the Beyond Light campaign for the first time.. I'm excited, Stasis warlock is a tank.
For my other Stasis Hunters out there, if you have spare Gunsmith engrams, try to get a Grave Robber/Headstone Senuna SI6. Could be very good with the new exotic helmet and artifact perks.
I got one of these rolls nearly a year ago and have been holding it for the next stasis season thinking exactly as you are!
For those who prefer 140 hc’s to adaptive burst sidearms outlaw headstone eyasluna or headstone adrenaline junkie judgment
@@Karandari thought i was the only one hahaha. My cousin who i play with was asking me why i was keeping it, so i’m glad i can finally put it to use!!
I'll probably rock this hand canon until I can get the new Exuviae stasis HC in Revenant. Exiviae comes with the new Rimestealer perk, which gives Frost armor on shattering stasis crystals. Add on the fact that it can roll with headstone and the gun just sounds fantastic to me.
Just want to put this out there, because EVERYBODY seems to be focusing on Prismatic: Whisper of Shards, the stasis subclass fragment, gives 500% grenade regen for 6 seconds just for blowing up a crystal. I know all of us warlocks love Devour, but if you're comparing grenade regen, the new exotic chest coming out finally gives us a way to consistently create crystals, meaning we can actually make consistent use of Shards!
In general I find stasis to be quite like solar, in that the base, non-Prismatic kit tends to have a LOT of synergies within itself. So when all this new stasis stuff drops, don't just default to Prismatic! Personally, I think Shadebinder is gonna be the play for warlocks, and it's probably worth a look on the other classes as well.
Horror Story with demolitionist and headstone will be fun this season/episode.
Wicked Implement on hunter with the new exotic is great synergy. A bunch of stasis shards for melee energy for shuriken spam
I think a great video would be to explain how each class is able to achieve devour, radiant, amplified, etc. and how they differ from each other. After watching this video I realized it's not as clear cut as it seems. For newer players or players who took a hiatus, this would be very helpful.
dont forget theyre (iirc) fixing consecration and diamond lance to allow them to shatter stasis crystals - great for prismatic titan! esp if you have a cheeky armamentarium - hoil class item ;)
Not that it has stasis synergy but I am curious to see how Prospector plays with its changes and a few of the artifact mods.
Looks like Agers Scepter and pretty much all of the stasis stuff will be great this season! Actually pretty excited!
All the Stasis love and the Lucky Pants changes are making me very excited for next week. The damage nerf to Lucky Pants just won't be enough to make me stop using them now that I am not element bound in buildcrafting with them.
On paper this seasons overall rewards and changes could be the best in a long time… more of this please Bungie 👍
Gonna go with good ol’ Bad Juju and Skull of Dire Ahamkara. Onslaught should be a pretty relaxing time with that combo.
The buff to RPM to Heavy Burst pulses is an indirect buff to Rev 0's Sniper mode when using that setting, letting you build to that shot much faster than before. Will it matter? Probably not since PvE usually runs the 4-burst setting anyway but it's something that might close the gap a bit.
i always use the 2 shot personally
@@lilhealthpack977same. Reminds me of the N7 Valkyrie from Mass Effect 3.
Been using wicked implement for a while, I love it, helped me solo a gm for the first time last night
I forgot about that scout rifle
Tarnished mettle gonna go hard possibly stunning all 3 types
As a hunter i can't wait to use the new hunter helm and wicked implement..just tryna decide if im gonna run full stasis..or prismatic.
..will try both
If you run full stasis the uptime on your grenades will be insane
@@notjordan245 I think i will be using renewal and the new helm and lot and going full stasis
I'll be going full Stasis as it's been literally years since I have played just Stasis and I'm a little sick of Prismatic dominating the Hunter character.
@@TReynard11 I can't wait to try out that new grenade launcher
The fact that nobodh is considering verglass curve+the new hunter exotic is insane bro
The guiding sight scout rifle for the crucible folks!!
19 zoom, and with weapon mod you can bring it down to 17 zoom. This is a true unicorn for its family and I CANNOT WAIT to try my max aim assist rolls!
Might be the one “season” where a Demolitionist Dead Messenger may actually be useful for shattering multiple crystals at once.
OK... I'm stopping this video at the beginning. I just went through my vault yesterday, and I completely forgot about Coolguy doing this almost EVERYTIME I delete something that is on the fence. With fear, and loathing, I will restart the video...
I think collective action is a bit redundant with the artifact mods, especially on a void subclass. Great weapon overall, especially current episode, but I think other choices may be better overall next episode.
Titans with Peacekeepers + Huckleberry sounds like so much fun next season.
I'm curious about Anarchy GL with that Kinetic Impact artifact mod. If it works the way I think that could be amazing.
Anarchy will be so cracked if it gives kinetic tremors. This is the top weapon on my list to try
@@ccjjrr9478 Exactly. It was the first thing that popped into my mind.
SGA: Wicked Implement 💎
I have a loadout in DIM with Wicked Implement and Graviton Forfeit, actually. It looks like that's gonna get a big boost with this new artifact. Looking forward to getting back into the game!
🤔🤔 Why Graviton Forfeit?
It makes me so happy there is at least one other person with this setup
@@shadyrebob5999on prismatic w/stylish, you go invisible a lot due to wicked's slowing/freezing
Note about Collective Obligation - if you pick unstop pulse rifle, volatile rounds from the exotic trait will not work as anti-barrier. Can't double dip. Suppression should still work, because it's a debuff applied to the target rather than a "buff" applied to your shots.
It was great to read the upcoming changes and artifact perks. Recently been trying out a stasis build with wicked implement or demolitionist/headstone stasis weapons. For the exotic armor, I was switching between hoarfrost or Lance cap. With changes coming to icefall mantle, I want to experiment with that one after the update.
As a behemoth main, I normally keep my Kephri's Horn on my Beserker because of Drengr's Lash. I think in Revenant, with the fact you can double dip on class ability regen from the fragments and artifact, a behemoth Kephri's build might be worthwhile. Using wicked implement + an energy for melee regeneration/uptime + a good DPS heavy could really be good for solo activites.
Collective obligation is my ❤!! Especially with prismatic and the void stuff in the artifact and class with either gyrfalcons or even exotic class item with Carlibans hand and the strand dart turning invisible. Void class with Wicked implement is fire too
Soon as I saw the preview stream and I saw anti barrier scout I knew Wicked Implement was gonna cook
Just a suggestion, a video looking at a few forgotten or roll combinations on various weapons that are JUST missing the mark (think lunas/spare rations being 61-66 range on average, a little too low) now being 67-72 with the +6/+6 mods! Obviously applicable to all types of weapons. Love the vids excited for what you have in revenant!
mask of the quiet one has been in my vault just waiting for this meta. cant wait to use it again. last time was in the leviathan raid LOL
I am actually looking forward to seeing what the stasis fusion rifles will be capable of. I have a crafted Deliverance with Chill Clip and I can see it putting in work.
I really wanna try out Mask of Fealty with Verglas Curve. Shooting a volley of crystals then shattering them with a melee sounds fun, really hope the refunded melee energy is decent though
Aisha’s care from Trials is another heavy burst pulse🦾💯
Not only am I excited for the changes but man, so many cool guns are coming in this Episode!
Also, I can't believe you called it a season, how dare you 🤣
One other grenade launcher to look out for is the stasis wave frame New Pacific Epitaph from Ghosts of Deep! Rolls with demo/pugilist, lead from gold/kill clip and demo/collective action 👌
Wicked is 100% going to be nuts. Curious to see how AB-Scout ends up working out.... Plus all the stasis synergies? Going to be a *fantastic* GM/Master Dungeon weapon
Prodigal Return should be on your list since it's the only breach loader GL with volt shot. Assuming the weaken effect chain to all targets hit with volt shots jolt, then you could easily wipe rooms.
Are you not counting waveframes, or did you forget about Undercurrent?
@Welverin I'm not counting wave frames since they are situational and a lot of perks/mods tend to not work with them due to the way they are coded.
@@trich742 Would you say there's a good chance they won't work with the artifact mods then?
@@Welverin why don't you make your own comment then instead of trying to piggy back off mine?
@@trich742 I'm curious about your opinion since you seem to know something about it I didn't.
What are you on about?
Glad to see you'll be making new videos for Revenant. Always love your content. Keep up the good work!
I really think verglas curve is going to work well w the new warlock exotic in pve. You’re basically going to be able to build an ice fortress around you constantly.
No demolition, but Syncopation with Outlaw and Headstone has been very good since they buffed pulse rifles. Whenever I need a darkness primary that's been my go to this episode
Some thoughts:
- Ex Diris: Does it get none of the breechloaded perks nor the heavy GL perk? Or is it technically a breechloded GL that just reloads itself? Because it is getting buffed and could work with there’s a lot of arc mods on top of GL mods…
- Salvation’s Grip: Lots of stasis and lots of GL in artifact, maybe this will not be a meme this season?
- Delicate Tomb: Already wants Ionic Traces, blinding explosions from artifact would add even more add clear on top of its jolt after trace pickup. Maybe combine with arc subclass fragment that gives blind explosion on kill with arc special weapon while amplified? or would it not stack with artifact? and is it even worth giving up prismatic?
- Dead Messenger: In void mode, with crafted Thresh and inbuilt Turnabout = lots of interaction with breech GL and void weakening in the artifact, plus lots of super energy and overshield. Screams void titan with Doom Fang Pauldron and Offensive Bulwark aspect, tons of super uptime and grenade energy from aspect. Could maybe swap Thresh for Demolitionist as crafted mod if you want
I always appreciate your enthusiasm and excitement for sandbox changes and seeing the fun it will bring! I feel like the devs are working hard at bungie, it’s disheartening to see the community always being hard on the devs when they shake things up.
Wicked implement just needs to be a rapid fire scout, and its usability would sky rocket. The faster we get to shattering, the better.
Its main issue IMO has always been that it’s fighting for its LIFE against Polaris lance….
Making its a rapid fire would make it a far more aggressive use weapon that can come in clutch in mid-close range engagements, and would give it competition against Symmetry…a battle it can actually win
Here's what I'm thinking right now. Prismatic hunter, wicked celestial, invis improvised....
I think going back to void subclass with Briarbinds exotic arms will enhance all devour and ability cooldowns more with repulsor and volatile on your energy weapons. Nezarec will also be another built for both dark and light subclass...
Ex Diris with Mothkeeper looks really good this season
Yarovit MG4 with rewind rounds + collective action/deconstruct/headstone.
Air trigger and desperate measures clears
I’m mostly excited for Stasis Titan, stasis melee being buffed and taunt on barricade. But Icefall is now on the menu, and it’s exciting. I’ll be able to change up my current fragment suite with this exotic. PvE will be this Boreal Knight’s frozen playground.
But I want to point out how strong Perfect Paradox will be with the new armor passive that increases shotgun damage against targets you damage with them. My favorite dps Warlock is Perfect Paradox with Song of flame. Perfect paradox trench and field prep shot three times between that supers melees puts out work. Paired with Tractor Cannon…
My biggest point of interest is the stasis glaive. It’ll probably get chill clip for the projectile, but what about cold steel? How will that perk be activated if it does roll on it? Will it be tied to your shield energy for the powered melee qualifier or something else?
All in all I’m just happy to finally have a glaive in the kinetic slot
I'm just gonna throw this out there: the new hunter exotic armor with Cryosthesia
I’ve been using choir a lot, using my subclass and armor mods to get lots of dps on choir and twilight arsenal. I’m really interested to see how this pairs with the buffed mask of the quiet one. Might be nasty!
I'm actually somewhat excited for salvation's grip.
Wicked Implement is literally incredible on Stasis Builds! I use it on my Renewal Revenant almost exclusively! I cannot wait to get the new Revenant Exotic Helmet, genuinely excited to get that & I'm thinking Bold Endings x Forbearance/Salvagers Salvo on my Warlock with the new Robes!
if you wanna carry a different exotic than Wicked Implement, maybe a Jararaca or a Perses-D to get all those shards and anti barrier scout. I think you wanna look at GLs too since theyre gonna be overcharged the additional damage might make Parasite be on of the sleepers or Anarchy with the seasonal mod might be even funny. or maybe a rapid fire GL + Huckleberry for double tremors
Thanks for gettin nerdy with it buddy...👊
The new Chill clip Headstone stasis heavy Linear Fusion is a swiss armyknife in the heavy slot
Choir is gonna go nuts with that weakening burst
However I’ll most likely sit on prismatic Mothkeeper’s with wicked implement
Psyched for a new season and new coolguy content!
Excited about the hunter helmet, finally we get a withering blade exotic, but man....does it look hideous lol
Cool guy love your videos, always top tier. I hope you are feeling better. Question, have u notice since Tuesday that stasis weapons que u shoot you can’t see what u r shooting at because of the 💥
Very very niche desire but I would like to see if that new stasis glaive will roll tilting at windmills and elemental cap. Max out the strafe capabilities
New stasis double shot gl with good perks coming next season could be good pairing as well with collective
1:10 "slow has anti barrier" ah yes slow that stuns overloads yes it's anti barrier but does it technically work for them as well yes but only if applied with rapid succession
I think Salvation's Grip might actually end up being really good in PvE
If Anarchy procs Kinetic Impact, wooooo boy. It is gonna be juiced.
Yess a coolguy video. finally quality content
Unless collective obligations automatically does the leaching and applying at the same time ill never touch that thing
Wilder flight can roll autoloading lead from gold..
as a shatterskate main, I am literally never taking the new gl off
I wonder how good the Stasis set up will be without Prismatic. At the moment I'm using an Arc wallock and it absolutely destroys with the new arc bonuses on the artifact?
Wicked Implement was already a great tool for GM stuff, feels a little slow as a scout for other things imo. However, these mods are gonna be awesome. It covers all champs currently too.
I had a build during Season of the Wish with the Hail the Storm mods, Wicked Implement, and Cadmus Ridge Lancecap, which is only gonna be even better with the new mods and the Lancecap buff!
i cleared the last boss from spire of the watcher 170+ times to get wilderflight blind holster disruption break and totally worth it.
i got with frenzy but i dont like it because i never reload this weapon, i shot swap and wait it reload by itself.
wicked implement mentioned 🔥 lit my fav exotic
I’m most excited for icefall mantels. Now if they could give us titans our class ability stasis aspect and rework hoarfrosts
Yoooo supernova is back?! Time to get out the Felwinter's helm finisher build
thanks for the info brother, hope you're doing well!
You know what? You ARE a cool guy.
I'm pumped for the new season!!
The wicked implement got a huge glow up to stun all three champs plus frost armour!!
Couple of seasons ago I was thinking Wicked Implement was the stasis Polaris Lance, but it just felt weak in comparison.
Now that Wicked Implement gets all of the artifact mods, the tables will be turned.
Except it won’t lmao. Wicked implement doesn’t work with champion artifact perks.
@@SavvyMon4 Why wouldn't it, it has no intrinsic anti-champion mod built in. It works against champions because it applies stasis affects, which is different.
@@Welverin put on the unstoppable scout rifle mod from this season and tell me if it works for you (answer is no it doesn’t) which means any champion artifact perks aren’t going to work on it
@@SavvyMon4 Why would I do something dumb like that?
It applies slow stacks, which stuns overloads. Enough of them and you freeze and then shatter an enemy, which stuns unstoppables. Get radiant and you can stun barrier champions.
That versatility is what makes the gun appealing, using a scout rifle champion mod negates all of that and an awful thing to do if you’re using Wicked Implement.
Pretty sure Collective Obligation’s leeched volatile does NOT have Anti-Barrier capabilities
I just got destroyed by Cool Guy in Crucible!! He is a legend!! I had to get him with my super though!
Kindled orchids 5/5 will never return lol
didnt they say some time back that the whole thing would be released at the same time not just act1 and you could do the whole season in one go if you wanted to?
Stasis Wave frame GL from GotD, New Pacific Epitaph
Will Wicked implement actually work with the artifact?
Doesn't work with unstoppable scout, at least for me it ain't.
Gotta land those crits build the slow to freeze instead.
Am I tripping or was there no mention of conditional ? That gun is absolutely going to fry champions this season
Craft them, soon to be just a dream......
If they want stasis to be usable after this season they absolutely need to make these artifact perks base passives for stasis.
what do you mean usable? stasis might not be top tier but that would be a very tall order with the strength of Prismatic. Stasis power-wise is good, but the issue I think with it (similar to strand to some extent) is the lack of alternative melees/supers/grenades, which results in fewer customisation and build-crafting options
Stasis has always been usable. You not liking the play style doesn't make it unusable.
To clarify the whole reason I said what I did is because I love the idea of stasis and the potential it has. It's most certainly usable but far from top tier or a true contender with the more "meta" options. I also see the fact that not everything has to be meta I just would love to see stasis at the top. Ice is freaking awesome.
@@jekkin8972 The only thing Stasis doesn't do better is damage, everything else in terms of CC they have and as far as style sound effects go. Nothing makes monkey brain go 🥴 more than shattering a field full of frozen enemies. Not to mention the overall synergy of running more than one Stasis class in an activity. They all inherently play off of each other.
