I've followed Dimash for 3 years- every one of his performances is different. You are not even close to being "halfway" of seeing his immense talent and what he brings to each performance.

Yes he is the best in the world today Dimash. After his competition in China in 2017 china Director of CMA Mr Fu Lin's Review that in China nobody had his technique and vocal range. Hua china singer meet Dimash and saw his performance and had now also performed in different genres like Dimash. Every Dimash song ,gives you something new,
At 8:39 you are right on the button by saying the melds the classical vocal techniques with the pop vocal techniques with one song, sometimes he does it many times within one song. He is so highly trained in both styles that he has mastered them. The talent really comes through with his seamless transitions in techniques and in registers from low to high. He can sing bass, baritone, tenor, alto, soprano, mezzo-soprano, and higher in his whistle register.
You're so right that you're not close to seeing it all from Dimash. The scary part is that Dimash has gotten so much better since 3 years ago! The guy continues developing his talent, improving his singing, his dancing, his performing, his rapping (yeah, I know!), and even increasing the range of his voice (he's now beyond the original 6 octaves)! You need to watch him sing Opera, duets with gorgeous divas, in a music video for a movie, his cover of the 5th Element "The Diva Dance" alien song, etc.

You did a lovely Chewbacca impression while you were trying to find your words - ha! Dimash is incredibly versatile stylistically. He has the range, timbre and capability to do any genre. I also enjoy watching the variety of styles that Dimash embraces. I agree that Freddie would have been proud - not because Dimash copied him, but because Dimash didn’t copy him. Dimash maintained the essence of the song, but gave his unique spin to the song as well. Your enthusiasm is contagious.

Freddie sang the show must go on but my part is over. He knew he was dying and hoped he’d live through his music. Dimash sings the show MUST go on and as long as the show is going so is he. Dimash’s age is some of this. Young and cannot be defeated.

You are nowhere near a 100th of the way to seeing his all. You are coming up to 4 years behind, Dimash shocks and surprises us with every new song, and then every new performance even of the same song. You have so many twists and turns ahead, you have only seen him in one TV show so far, so buckle up its a hell of ride . He is the best performer, the best vocalist, the best video director, the best actor, the best movie theme song performer, the best musical academic, the best humanitarian, the best musician, the best example used in musical educational institutions, the best showman, has the best and most visually captivating solo concerts, is the best brand ambassador, is the best fashion and photographic model, has the best and most down to earth, humble personality, and so, so much more. Remember, this performance is from the Singer contest in China 2017, ie, his international career took off from there. He was a rocker then (in that show he also performed Uptown Funk and a MJ song) and has included more rocky/rappy songs over time . He knew from the very beginning that he wanted to have as broad a range of genre (crossover/neoclassical) as his musical range😀. As it is, he has already had a major influence over a general shift in music with many artists and groups imitating his "softer" more romantic style. Rock as we knew it is on the wane, speaking in generalities. But we'll always have Freddie and what was, with two generations "discovering" the 70s, 80s and whatever came afterwards. Dimash is a game changer.

Dimash is a consummate showman - although I cringe every time he falls to his knees (ouch!) - and I hope someday to be able to see him in concert. His vocal abilities are unparalleled. Just FYI, The Singer 2017 started in January and ended in April so Dimash was 22 throughout the competition. His birthday is in May.

Great and funny reaction! You know, some people listen to just one song and will say he's a good singer but..... (like they don't like the song, or he's too emotional, or not emotional enough, etc.). Then they don't bother to explore more of his music to see how versatile he is. Then there's someone like you who notices little things and who's curious in nature.
