When I was young I never missed tiatr held in Rang Bhawan, Damodar Hall and Byculla schools. I enjoy the songs, side shows and comedy shows. It brings memories of our family going together and enjoying the shows.
In my comments I forgot to thank Anthony Sylvester for keeping up the tradition of a tiatr. It is a tradition of Goa of more than hundred years old and is based on our customs and traditions. There are comedy scenes which are often filled with double entendre, duets on recent happenings in Goa, trios with a story of a lost value thrown in between delivering a story line with a meaning. All in all, the viewers take home a message. Like my aunt who would have commented after viewing this particular tiatr " thea backaraccheo oxea corneanco lagon tacher duvens poddom ani Devan teca infernant vorun".
