It's an F-key Xiao (F in china is C in america), u can buy it online, I've been blowing this song since 2 years ago. If you read the story about the song itself you could even put more soul into it while replaying =) Btw, I'm not that "truly" good LOL, just a person with some normal passions like everyone else Oh, and the song's real name is "Green"
The Xiao is a vertical end-blown flute, generally made of bamboo, a very ancient Chinese instrument, 2 types: DongXiao and QuinXiao. Normally it has 8 holes, but in Vietnam, the people there even created 10-hole xiao, 11-hole xiao and 12-hole xiao (believe me you won't want to try these unless you are a professional, they are extremly hard to blow and fingering) The Dizi is basically the same as any horizontal flute. Only, it has a very different additional hole, called a "mo kong", between the embouchure and finger-holes. A special membrane called "dimo" to paste on the "mo kong", which will produce the unique sounds of the Dizi (you know, the "errrrr errrr" sounds). The membrane is what makes Dizi unique comparing to any other flutes (this is why I love this instrument the most out of all genres of bamboo flutes) -> hope that helps you, keep your passion lit, it's been a long time since someone last replied my comment on the internet =)

不過完全沒有基礎只能自己看著附帶的指法表試，好不容易能夠吹出聲音了又發現只要數字是一樣的不管是高低音，聲音吹起來也完全一樣QAQQQQQ

初學還是建議找個老師面授比較好入門，笛子一開始基本功跟高低八度的口風氣流角度以及姿勢手勢都很重要的，所以，有條件的話，還是找個老師，要不就看看笛子視頻教程跟著練吧

顺便问个问题，这个视频中的笛子开始认定是爱尔兰哨笛，但后来感觉又不像，似乎是种中国风格的哨笛。既然世界最早的笛子在中国（B.C.9000-7000贾湖文化）突然很好奇这种哨笛的由来，是以中国本土的骨笛发展而来还是近代西来的舶来品？如果是前者上古、中古时期传统乐器中有类似笛子么？如果是后者那何时传入中国？
