All that and even a 'hammer handle' northern pike. I had forgotten what a diverse fishery that river is. Enjoyed these two episodes a lot. Well done. Thanks, guys.
I enjoy the off season videos as much as the hunting season videos. Keep it going.. you guys are doing a great job showing many what awaits if you get off your a$$ and go do something fun whether you catch or shoot anything.
Thank you very much for posting these videos during this time of idiocy for us they are living in Washington state. Love to see friends and family out enjoying themselves! Please keep posting more videos.
I cant help but watch these videos over and over, cant wait to be there in a few months!! daves drag was too loose, he didnt capitalize because he wasnt dragging the hook through the water column, its like hed pull then stop...lol...gotta have a long follow through when you start to pull, after landing 100+ paddlefish, ive learned a lot about this type of fishing. Snag on!
I want to go fishing with Marcus. He helps *everyone*. The food looked amazing and you could tell everyone had a good time whether they caught a paddle fish or not.
I love the fishing content, all of my co-workers give me grief for "Hook em, Cook em, Smoke em", but keep at it. Full stomach of fish or game meat is the best, thanks for sharing the cooking and eating scenes.
What an epic series! Looked like everyone had a great time and I'm jealous I wasn't there. Man, sure would have loved to see your dad's fish. Great job guys and way to keep things interesting and entertaining on the channel. Now get Randy out there! Can't wait to see what's next.
Hoping to move to Montana in a few years, looks like the kind of adventure i would enjoy. Not sure I have much desire to snag one myself but I would fish everything else and have a blast helping land them
Awesome series, really loved it! Great content and you guys are always authentic which makes it even better. Keep up great work, but can I come next time?!
Loved it. Just like use on the west coast. Just above Sac. 60 miles. Snagging Salmon. I. Showed my Older brother. And. My. God it was on. 4 fish a day between us. There was NO STOPPING MY OLDER BRO. Loved your video. Was hoping the whole way thru to see Pops hook an land one. Well he hooked one. KoDos to pops and the rest of your crew
Great content and loved the two shows. I have done the snagging thing a few times myself. Lot of work, but more fun. Felt sorry for your dad ---- I am probably close to his age.
Ate some Drum in Kansas a LOONG time ago. Mushy and bony....not great, but still edible. Catching that little Pallid is SOOO cool. That's some Paddlin'! Still wanna see that caviar prep'd. Don't let me down! LOL
I love these side trips. I had a snagging permit but like you said they canceled them all due to covid. I would liked to see how you guys set up your paddle fish rods. IE: line size, rods, reels, I did hear 8x treble. Did you fish with the weighted hook, or did you put the hook above the weight? Thanks again for a great mini series. Loved it!
I personally use a 10ft ugly stick rod, big saltwater reel. I use 80lb braided line (I dont like how Mono stretches when jerking). I put a 4 or 5oz weight on the bottom and use two 8/0 treble hooks. I personally like one maybe 6-8inches above the weight, and the other maybe 25-30 inches above. And have a pool noodle on the bottom of the rod where it rests against my ribs because after a weekend you can get pretty tender. Not involved with Randy in any way, just another paddlefisher.

Looks like fun guys..! Randy I think some training in how to fillet fish is in order...! Lol...

Fun couple of days! "Is it an eater?" "Eat everything." LOL!! Hopefully at next year we get to see Dave land a 100 pounder. 👍

Seriously! I love it.

Great day of fishing/snagging, but your knife skills 😲
the dullness of your knives makes my soul hurt
Absolutely loved the Hank Patterson references! Keep up the great work!
What an epic series! Looked like everyone had a great time and I'm jealous I wasn't there. Man, sure would have loved to see your dad's fish. Great job guys and way to keep things interesting and entertaining on the channel. Now get Randy out there! Can't wait to see what's next.
Hang tight!
I'd love to go fishing with you guys, but you're never allowed to clean my fish!
Great content. I always look forward to your fishing trips in addition to your hunts.
Super cool guys! Don't tell uncle Randy, but I like the content from the crew just as much as the high end elk hunts.
Hoping to move to Montana in a few years, looks like the kind of adventure i would enjoy. Not sure I have much desire to snag one myself but I would fish everything else and have a blast helping land them
Loving the fishing content!! So much fun to watch!

This is not like salmon snagging. Salmon will actually bite lures and skein. Salmon snaggers are garbage
Thanks Marcus and Michael...Mahalo and Aloha from the Big Isle "🤙"
Great content and loved the two shows. I have done the snagging thing a few times myself. Lot of work, but more fun. Felt sorry for your dad ---- I am probably close to his age.
Tight drag got em again. I was yelling loosen the drag! Lol
Keep them coming those are such cool fish. I'm going to do that one day. Thanks for sharing 👍
Good stuff! Keep after it David!!
I love the fishing content! I would like to see more walleye up in my current state of MN!
Good interesting video looked like a blast!

That's some Paddlin'! Still wanna see that caviar prep'd. Don't let me down! LOL
That looks like a ton of fun!
ABSOLUTELY keep filming this stuff!
Marcus you always do a awesome job!
Dude you cant say its a fn pike. Its alright well bleep it. Lol that made me laugh
I DO enjoy those beautiful night-lapses, this one was too short!
Wow that looks like a blast !!!
I'm starting to get into snagging fish more these day. The biggest paddlefish I snagged is a 36lbs.
That moment/feeling when your buddy that just got there catches one before you. #ifeelyourpain
Good job guys...
If you make that fillet knife even duller, you will mangle more meat! Ha!,Ha! dirtclod Az.
Love the videos. That not something you see everyday
This episode NOT brought to you by any fillet knife company worth a damn! :-) Other than the horrible fillet skills a very enjoyable show!
Looks like a good time and also a lot of work. Couple take aways....adjust drag properly and up the poundage of your fishing line.

Better bring Randy to fillet the fish.
Not sure why you grab the spool when the fish is running? Looked like fun.
How did your Caviar turn out?! I know you said you were using a different style this year.
@19:12 is the look of emotional defeat
What are the rods you all are using?
Yo, u skinned that Catfish alive. Cmon man. Dispatch it first
Not into snagging but to each his own.
You can't catch them any other way.
What mean its not hunting. The weapon and prey might be different but it's the same thing.
Yellowstone or the Missouri?
7:50 mark of the video he catches a brown fish what is it?
Wicked video is there a part three
Let’s go!
Where that place at?
Yellowstone or Missouri?
All that gear and you don't pack a folding table?
Anyone else hear that woodie in the background
Yippee!
Are you guys unaware of tables?
Promo code for Trevinos Tortillas??
You guys gave your location away with the color of the tags!
There is only one tag this year due to Covid, so if they brought out any video, they give it away. Upper Missouri has a lot of area to fish!
That looks like a fun time. Can nonresidents get a tag?
In Michigan snagging is looked on as a horrible way of fishing and unsportsmanlike. Things must be different where you guys are..
Paddlefish are filter feeders, so snagging is the only way to catch them.
