My wife has a PHD in computer science and mathematics and everyone loves her. After being together for 12 years I can understand why she loves math so much. Love my mathematician 💕💕🌈🌈
Someone that can openly talk about mental health and struggles that we all have and it’s still taboo to speak of is hard to find. He is a strong yet soft man to the woman that gets him congrats in advance
@@hd-xc2lz I wouldn't even tell a woman these issues. Iv had periods of vulnerability while talking to women for a while and they just cut you off. All women seek alphas.
Wonderful match of two intelligent, thoughtful people. He is a perfect man, brilliant, handsome, articulate, sensitive. He also has gorgeous hair, contrary to the stereotype of mathematicians, yet merely has a bad haircut. He would look stunning with a more flattering shape to his hair (just a trivial observation). I hope he knows not to worry about the overwhelming stress of Oxford. Many, many people share similar feelings.
lol she has lipstick on her teeth. Endearing lol. They're both very good looking, intelligent, kinda nerdy, compassionate and understanding. I ship them.
Tom is 6 ft. 6 in, smart, Oxford grad, with an English accent, and very cute. I don't think he'll be having any problems landing a lady. Unless he's got the personality of a donkey or a paper clip. We shall soon see! :D
@@georgielancaster1356 After seeing this snippet, he strikes me as a nerdy, shy guy. Before university he was probably in his own little world, doing the mathematics he loved. Which meant little to no dating with girls. Then at Oxford, he spiraled into some serious anxiety and depression about living up to the expectations imposed on Oxford math students. That was very relatable. He was vulnerable about this regrettable situation, which made him even cuter. I think he'll do fine if he puts some effort in dating.
Mathematics must either attract nervous personalities or the syllabus makes them over anxious. obviously, anybody who studies higher mathematics is some kind of genius so it is not that they are failing the classes. I once met a guy who was getting a PhD in mathematics at MIT and something went wrong and he transferred to another university because he was so unhappy.
It's the hyper-competitive nature of it that really gets people down, anxious and depressed. Once you're up at the MIT/Oxford level in math (or any science), you're dealing with world-class geniuses. And some of these people are COMPETITIVE, and will make sure they make that known to everyone. Some people can survive in that environment--a lot of people can't. Especially those who were just naturally attracted to math and loved it as a pursuit before it became this overly-stressful race to the top. I think that's what happened to this guy--his passion suddenly became his torture.
Correct there is some correlation, I know of someone done a master's degree in physics yet he suffers from mental health really bad and even been sectioned.
Worst thing you can do is open up about your vulnerabilities to a woman iv done it before she didn't want to know and ghosted me. Women have more options than men they don't care.
@@jacobs3031I’m sorry you have had a bad experience in your past but not all women are like that! Please don’t generalise us, the woman you met was a coward and gives compassionate women like myself and others a bad name!! I do hope you meet someone worthy of you and wish you good luck with your search, you can’t meet the right one if holding on to the wrong one and personally I think you had a lucky escape! If a woman can’t handle hearing about you at your worst, well she certainly doesn’t deserve to see you at your best! 😊
What a lovely open, honest and mindful communication between these two beautiful humans . And how they listen to each other 🥰...."sigh"
Wow very sweet. She seemed very caring and compassionate. Cant wait to see the next episode.

Glad he had all the support he needed when times get tuff, so much easier to get through them, than alone.

Sadly women don't appreciate soft men he will stay single for a long time.
True, but past mental health struggles aren't the best first date topic.

What lovely people! It’s so wonderful that they were put together!
He's intelligent and handsome, and not aware how attractive he is - which makes him even more attractive!

Once again - DATING IS NOT THERAPY.
Couldn't agree more, two different entity's. I find dating stressful I don't even like it.
HIs social skills are perfect! Had nothing to worry about, mathematician or not. NIce work!

I went to Oxford university. It can be very demanding. There’s quite a high dropout rate

He must be sending out NOT AVAILABLE vibes.
He should have a queue longer than the Queen's lying in state traffic jam.

@@Luboman411 well said. Some people just need time to get more comfortable with themselves. He's on his way
He's lovely. She as well.

This kid's gonna break some ladies' hearts as soon as he figures out the 'formula.'
Good at math and very handsome!!!

Well that was interesting about him but we found virtually nothing out about his date!
Yeah, that all unis for STEM subjects.
Yes mate my masters year in chemical engineering almost pushed me over the edge multiple times. Almost completely lost it.
If a guy with all of his advantages suffers from depression then I don't know what
Girl was not really interested as I understood 😢
She needs a more confident and mature man.
You don't get girls by being self obsessed. Need to find out who she is.
I actually don’t think she was into him. She jumped into therapist mode.
