Really nice analysis. I was listening to the analyst during the Bucks/Pels game talking about how important it was to get the ball out of an opponent's best player's hands. I think Shai is opting to keep the defense honest when he takes the shot rather than passing, but you're right, there is a very fine line here. It will be interesting to see what he does in those situations in the playoffs.
Thanks for watching and the nice words! Shai has preached all season how much he trusts his teammates and I tend to believe him. Like I said in the breakdown it's a few small nitpicks, but I think Shai for the most part tends to make the right decision passing vs shooting most of the time.
@@letstalkthunder You're welcome. I agree that Shai trusts his guys. He commented early in the season that he wanted to emulate MJ in that regard. Not LeBron, not KD (don't even get me started there!), not even Kobe. That is what is missing in this ongoing GOAT argument between MJ and LeBron, and I'm not undermining how great LeBron is, but MJ was a better decision maker. Forget this "Forget the 90's" crap, it's a red herring. Some 19 year old kid padding stats didn't put those rings on MJ's fingers, it was getting the most out of his guys over and over and over... and himself. I think Shai understands and has bought into that as the ultimate goal.
