In today's video I'm covering 35 mods and resource packs that turn Minecraft into a zombie apocalypse. Included in the video is information on all the mods needed, and a bit of gameplay at the end. All these mods are available for Forge, 1.19.2.

Just follow these steps (this was copy and pasted from my discord server's faq channel, so if you need more details on running the modpack, maybe check that out)
1) Go to the Cursed Walking modpack homepage (link:www.curseforge.com/minecraft/modpacks/cursed-walking-a-modern-zombie-apocalypse)
2) Click the orange install button at the top right of the page.
3) If you do not have the Curseforge app, you will be prompted to download it first. If you already have the app, you will be directed to the Curseforge app where the download will begin automatically. When the download is finished, select "Play"
2] Question: "The Cursed Walking modpack keeps crashing, what do I do?"
Answer:
1) Make sure you have followed the correct steps to download the modpack (listed above)
2) Download the H9 version of Optifine and place it in the modpack's mod folder. (For more info on this, refer to the following question)
3) If you are still getting crashes, let me know in the "help" channel under the "OnMod's Modpacks" category.

This is my fav zombie apocalypse video from you so far! It feels like ur research has payed off and now we have more mods that i havent seen in zombie apocalypse videos before! As a side note, the fast paced editing in the gp takes some of the enjoyment out of it. Also i think the song there doesnt really fit very well. If the song were spookier it would give the section a really exciting and fun atmosphere and would make it more fun to watch

I recommend either *OnlyLooking* or *Cloak and Dagger* to add a stealth option. It limits mobs' ability to spot players or other mobs, letting you sneak behind them and avoid detection.
i agreed, cuz we need "last of us" features in minceraft :v

Just curious is your modpack simply just put together and call it a day or have did some modifying to the loot table so have modded item lootable from around the world? I been looking for zombie apocalypse modpack that nicely put together.
i got a "exit code 1" it means that some mods are outdated but when i looked a all the mods they were all fine so idk what happend.

I bagan watching and as i watched further i realised wait a minute i know much of these mods where did i see them and at the moment where you showed the Modpack i knew it, it is the pack i played today lmao i played the Horizon city because i thought you have to play this map and i was wondering why its on i think russian lmao.

Another really cool mod for a zombie apocalypse is zombie extreme. It mayby ain't top notch quality but the amount of features it has is insane. However tweaking it's mob spawns is definetly necessary because otherwise you'll have 20 rat kings spawning at night :)

one mod recommendation for the op aircrafts is Valkarian skies. i think thats how you say it.
You have to manually build a ship/boat. and place a block that turns ever block connected to it. becomes a ridable entity.
it does require coal to run though

I recommend immersive vehicles, it is the most realistic vehicle mod with lots of addons depending on the version and has steering wheel / joystick support
Great for 1.16.5, but unfortunately not available for 1.19.2
adding the mod The Hordes would add a lot more gameplay, since zombies can infect and zombify you
Yeah though that mod is really unstable and causes countless crashes
i'm pretty sure entity texture features is available for that version, removing the need for optifine
you can add timeless and ca=lassic guns it feels alot more fun when you are using them

@OnMod I downloaded the modpack but on curseforge but the problem is when I arrive to enter the server it tells me that there are certain incompatible mods because of their old version how can I make sure I can play in the server with friends?

Okay, so how do you get weapons while playing the zombie map? Can they appear in chests or do I have to leave the city and craft them myself?

The 1.19 mods are really surprising me! In its visual and technical quality, apart from that, at least for me, it is lighter to shoot.
Everyone goes about making mods for Zombies wrong. They think action zombie game. However you could alternatively have survival elements and getting infected. Having status effects that weaken you.
This can go beyond zombies. You'd suffer from exhaustion, illness, sleep exhaustion, cold, heat, and hunger. What makes Zombies scary is that there relentless, and untiring. While humans aren't. Meaning while you're weak and exhausted, they don't stop coming.
A good mod that has an infection mechanic is "The Hordes" I don't think you get negative status effects when infected, but its the closest thing I've found that may be something you're interested in.
I saw a mod called "Zombie Extreme" it adds a wide variety of melee weapons, structures, items and maybe new zombie types. Would this be a good addition?

Here’s a few ideas for mods that I think would fit into the mod pack
Alex’s mobs, although you’ll have to remove some mobs with Bas Mobs
Guard villagers, I believe you can edit what they spawn with also, so it fits the theme better (assuming you didn’t disable villagers with bad mobs)
Human companions
Edit:also, what about the mods from your previous zombie apocalypse pack (that you didn’t mention in this video)?
I just didn't have time to include all the mods from the modpack in this video. Human companions is in the modpack, but Guard villagers isn't included. I'll have to add it in the next update.

don't forget that you can also remove mobs from most packs using the config mod

guard villagers cannot use modern weapons tho, like guns

I use bisect hosting to create my server and be able to play with friends but on this site there is not your modpack how can I make sure to be able to play with friends on your modpack?

so im having a proble with i think it's the lost cities mod sometime after playing my entire world get's corrupetd and i just don't know why entities stop spawning and chunks wont generate until the game crashes

No, they are not found in chests. The Lootr and LootTweaker mods allow you to customize loot tables, but unfortunately, these mods are only available for 1.12. There may be another alternative; I just don't know of anything.
is mob spawners, doesnt count for bad mobs? because there's still spawning some creeper and skeletons in my world

Such a shame that physics mod is incompatible with Fresh animations, but overall great modpack!
For some reason when i put enchance ai it gives me error code: 1 crashes. When i remove it in the mods folder it doesn't give me any crash errors.. what is really the problem??!! and how to fix it??

I've been playing this pack with friends and its pretty solid! I do need help with something, which mod is making the cows, pigs and such fight back? I keep getting outplayed i might have to take that one out lol
That's the enhanced ai mod doing that. You can turn that off in the config files, or download a newer version of the modpack where I fixed that :)

@@Forduss Download forge server files (make sure its the same version as the modpack). You will need to port forward, but when thats done you can add all the mods from the pack into the server mods folder. Hope this helps but if you've never made a MC server before id recommend some youtube guides

Hopefully somebody will respond to this comment with a fix to this issue, however, whenever I use the ultrafast shaderpack, minecraft starts glitching out visibly. Things become distorted and they all kinda turn black, kindof if you were to punch your monitor in the screen and black spots appear. Kindof the same issue, except the black spots are like massive lines and they spread across the entire world. Anybody know how to fix this? I mainly want to use the ultrafast shader because it allows my laptop to run minecraft almost perfectly fine with a shader, which no other ones do.
Edit: i found a temporary fix which was turn antialiasing on, however the issue still occured, so im not sure what to do at this point.

One issue with Open World Zombie Apocalypse map is that I can't even enter the map. Every time I load the world, it seems to remain stuck after reaching 100%. Are there any better maps other that those two (horizon city for some reason has no perms for cheats so it can be quite annoying)
I don't know of any other maps, sorry. You can use NBTExplorer to allow cheats for Horizon city though
If you want to have cheats enabled, open the world to LAN and select Cheats On when you do it. You'll have to do this everytime you load up the world but it does work within any version of Minecraft.
