You always amaze 🎁 I have a couple of old welding helmets that i dug out in the workshop 🤔 I think I will make scarecrows with them ---not as flash as yours but more dusty and also have an old rusted Phillips ten speed road bike just as British as your Bonneville but not.as loud ...just squeaky!
i dont remember- i don’t have this helmet anymore- i wore it out and then simpson quit making it for awhile and by this point i bought some new helmets- best i remember it had a little tab that unscrewed from the helmet side. the visor stayed open from the tension on the side screws at the temples - i can honestly say this was the quietist helmet with very little buffeting if any bc it is round and i loved it. people always asked about it. mine was carbon - very light
Good purchase. The fact that it only weighs two pounds is impressive. Some of the old helmets from back in the day were ridiculous - kinda like wearing a microwave on your head !!
Hello, does this helmet make a lot of wind noise? Or does it have better noise control than other helmets of the same type? I'm trying to buy a retro helmet that has good noise control.
this helmet was fantastic and light - i wore it out and they don’t make it anymore as far as i am aware. the roundness of it - no buffeting and not much wind noise
yeah the carbon fiber ones are expensive- the non carbon ones are not as much. i have to say though that 2lbs is so light weight and it is worth the money to be comfortable

How do you remove the pinnlock that holds the faceshield like you did to make it easier to open?

How did you remov the pin lock on visor?
i didn’t have a pin lock shield on this. if you want to remove the shield there are two screws on the side that a dime or penny will fit into.
